When we got home, Amy had dinner ready for us. I smiled as soon as I got off the elevator, “Mmm… Roast with potatoes and carrots. Yum. The first flea market that we went to had enough antique doors and windows to keep us in stock for a while. Victor, Daniel and the extra guys who were helping us loaded them in the box truck. I found several wardrobes and corner cabinets to repurpose into entry seats and storage space for coats and shoes.I also found two mule yokes and one ox yoke. The ox yoke was noticeably larger than the usual yokes I had already worked with. I was anxious to restore all of them and put mirrors in them. When I finished with Jessie, I went to the front of the store and checked in with the ladies. I walked to the counter and asked Angela, “How’s it going?” She answered, “It’s going great. Those doors and that window were the first two things sold this morning. I went next door with Daniel, Victor and Theodore to stage the jewelry shop. The first thing I did was look around the front of the shop. There were glass display cabinets along the two side walls and one display cabinet with our POS system and cash drawer on it. That left one corner with a large space unused.I looked at that space and voiced my sudden decision, “I need a drafting table and a couple stools in that corner. I need it to be able to design custom pieces with clients. There is plenty of room for it there.” I typed a note into my phone to look for a drafting table and decided that it would be good retail therapy after I talk to my mother.The guys helped me take all of my inventory to the front of the store and I started arranging it on the display shelves.
