12 (Kathryn’s POV) I watched the wolf disappear into the woods. I didn’t understand why I wasn’t afraid of him. He was a wild animal who would attack if I got too close, but for some reason, I felt safe with him around the house. I walked back into my bedroom, I needed to get some sleep, I had to go and find that trap in the woods before the brown wolf stepped in it. My biggest problem was I don’t know where it was or why I saw it when Camerin touched me. Why was Tyler in the vision standing over the wolf? Was he there to help or did he hunt wolves? It was too much to think about so I decided to just head to bed. I woke up ten minutes before my alarm went off. I was sweating and breathing heavily. My recurring nightmare about the car accident decided to pay me a visit during the night. 14 (Kathryn’s POV) I took hold of his hand and we walked back to the house in silence. I thought it was strange that he didn’t ask me to prove I could see visions. He just took me at my word. He smiled at me a couple of times. I liked holding his hand, for some reason I got a tingling feeling through the material, it felt strange but good. Once we reached the house we just stood by his truck before anything was said. “I guess the day didn’t turn out as you had planned,” he commented. “Maybe next time I'll tell you if I see something like that again. Since you know the area better than I do,” I hesitated. I didn’t like talking about the visions with people. They tend to look at me differently. But with him, he seems open-minded. “At least any vision with wolves, I wouldn’t want you to face them alone,” he commented. He seemed concerned. “Afraid I couldn’t protect myself?” I gave him a little smirk. “Maybe,” he smirked back. “I might be five feet and three inches tall, but you

16 (Kathryn POV) That didn’t go as I planned it. I was going to confront him about buying the property and once he confessed, I was not going to go out with him. Damn that smile of his, for some reason I couldn’t resist it. Actually, I couldn’t seem to resist anything about him, which was surprising because I just met him. The drive was quiet for the first ten minutes. It was like we were both nervous to be the first one to talk. “I like the lace gloves, they look better than the leather ones,” Tyler commented. I looked down at my hands as if I was noticing the gloves for the forest time, I responded quickly, “Thank you, the lace goes better with the outfit.” I could tell he didn’t know what to say. I looked out the window and watched the trees zoom by. “The scenery is lovely. Are we almost there?” “The town is about another fifteen minutes. You will be surprised how the woods hide the towns around this area. You go around a corner and they pop out of nowhere,” he said with a smi

18 (Micah’s POV) I spent the night keeping an eye on Alpha's human. I could tell they were friends but the attention he had been giving her since he met her at the diner made me wonder if there was more between them than he was letting on. The front door opened and I noticed that she had slept in this morning, she was usually up and ready to exercise at the crack of dawn. According to the clock in the garage, it’s almost 9 am. She must have really enjoyed the date she had with the Alpha. She started her routine with half an hour of Tai Chi, to loosen up for what she has planned for later. Next was forty-five minutes on the treadmill. I could tell she didn’t really like running on the treadmill and she rather is running the trails through the forest. 20 (Kathryn’s POV) I smelled the antiseptic before I even opened my eyes. I knew I was in a hospital but wasn’t sure where or how I got there. My eyelids started to blink open. I was in a room. I looked around but it was hard to move. My right arm and shoulder were wrapped up and I was in a lot of pain. I tried to remember what happened and all it did was bring back all the visions. The moment I was grabbed in the house I saw it. Wolves changing to people and back again. I saw the fight I had and the wolf I killed. I saw two men being tortured, but I could not tell whose hand it was because there was so much blood. I heard someone breathing softly and I tried to look around again and found someone sleeping in a reclining chair. I wasn’t sure who it was because they had a blanket pulled over them. I didn’t want to wake anyone up, but I was in so much pain. I wondered if I could get something for it. I saw the nurse’s call light and pressed it. I was expecting someone to say somethi
