22 (Tyler’s POV) I walked out of the dungeon, covered with blood. One prisoner was dead and the other one was still hanging on. After two hours I still was not any closer to finding out what Jaxson had planned by taking Kate. I could just claim her as my mate and take her lands, then this would be over with Jaxson. But I promised her that I wouldn’t take her land from her. It was hers to keep. I did tell her about the sweep of her land and getting all the wolves out of it. She seemed fine with that. Now I had to work on getting her to come here to the packhouse instead of going home. We could protect her here better and teach her how to fight wolves. 24 (Kathryn’s POV) I opened up the garage door and walked in, Tyler was right behind me. He seemed to be in shock by what he saw. He walked around admiring the weights, the exercise equipment, the punching bags, and the wall with all my weapons displayed on it. “This is amazing. 26 (Tyler’s POV) I was hoping that we didn’t run into the rogue on the way home. It was a young pup. I ordered the team to get him to the cells and I'll decide what to do with him after we had a talk. I didn’t like how he was looking at Kate so I wanted to get her out of there. I started to push her down the trail, hoping that she would figure out that I wanted her to continue on her way back to the packhouse. Luckily, she got the hint and started to slowly move down the trail. Once we were out of sight of the security team, we picked up the pace and managed to get back home without any further incidents.
