Chapter 1

Chapter 2

After a week in the pack infirmary, I finally recovered. Sebastian never came to see me. It was as though he'd vanished off the face of the earth.I'd told Gareth, my brother, to pick me up in a few days, so I had to go home to pack my bags. A few wolves scampered past me, and I tuned in to their conversation. "I heard Nina's back from treatment. Alpha's setting up a welcome party for her at home." "We've got to head over quickly." My heart squeezed painfully. I could see it in my head. Sebastian would use his "results" from torturing me to garner Nina's favor. I wanted nothing more than to leave. To avoid them, I sneaked in through the back door. Just as I stepped across the threshold, I heard someone say, "Zoreen?" It was Nina. I'd tried to escape her, but I guess our meeting was inevitable. Chapter 3

I walked down the stairs, packed bags in hand, just in time to hear Sebastian's conversation with Murphy. "Sebastian," started Murphy in confusion. "Weren't you the one who told us to teach her a lesson? Why did you stop us?" Sebastian's brows were deeply furrowed. "It would've been fine if you had been joking around, but you guys know that Zoreen is terrified of tight spaces. Why do something like that?" Murphy chuckled dismissively. "That's what makes our revenge worthwhile! Also, why do you even care about Zoreen's thoughts?" Eyeing Nina, he said, "Nina's back anyway." "Yeah," someone added. "In the past, you've made us do much worse things to her. What's this in the grand scheme of things?" Suddenly, Sebastian flew into a rage and kicked a nearby table. "She no longer has her wolf! She has no healing powers! What if her wounds reopen?" Nina put on a pitiful expression. Suppressing her anger, she asked, "H–Have you had a change of heart? Have you fallen for her?" "No!"

Chapter 4

With their mouths hanging open, everyone was frozen as they stared at the scene unfolding before them."Zoreen!" Sebastian was the first one who rushed forward. He had been hiding in some bushes. There were scratches on his face and arms from brushing against thorns. However, he seemed to feel nothing. Kneeling beside the pool of blood, he saw nothing but a heap of flesh. "No…" Sebastian shook his head frantically as he stumbled backward. "Sebastian…" Murphy came forward. Grabbing his collar, Sebastian yelled, "Get Annabelle over here right now!" She arrived within minutes. Annabelle circled the pool of blood before shaking her head regretfully. "Alpha, she cannot be saved." "No way!" Sebastian roared stubbornly, "You can bring a werewolf back to life! Revive her wolf. I'll do anything…" "It's no use, Alpha," interrupted Annabelle. "Have you forgotten? Sebastian turned to his Gamma, Pierce Holmes, and ordered coldly, "Inform the pack that I'll be holding the Luna Ritual for Zoreen even though she has passed. She will be the real Luna, and the only one I'll ever have. Those who refuse to show up will be exiled from the pack!" Nina stared at him in disbelief. She surged toward him and grabbed his arm, screaming, "Sebastian, are you out of your mind? How could Zoreen be your Luna? You said I was the one you loved, not to mention the fact that she's dead. How could this be possible?" Shrugging her off, Sebastian replied, "I promised Zoreen the Luna Ritual. What's the issue here?" Nina's heart sank to the bottom of her stomach. At the same time, I arrived at Gareth's territory and finally met with him. We hadn't seen each other in ages.He hugged me excitedly. "Zoreen, you're finally back!
