It was a full moon night and the air was thick with the scent of danger. Marissa has always been drawn to the woods but tonight, she felt an inexplicable urge to venture deeper than she ever had before. She didn't know why she felt this way, but she couldn't ignore the call of the wild. As she walked deeper into the woods, Marissa raised her hand and chanted a spell. A bright light came out of her hand and illuminated her path. She felt alive. Being outside and surrounded by nature had sharpened her senses. Every rustle of leaves, every snap of a twig seemed amplified in the stunness of the night, and then, she heard a low growl. Marissa froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew she was in danger but she couldn't move and then she saw it - a massive snarling wolf with eyes that glowed in the moonlight. For a moment, Marissa thought she was going to die. But then, the wolf lunged at her, sinking it's teeth into her flesh. She screamed but the pain was brief and th

Damian watched as his parents welcomed guests. The room was filled with wolves from different packs. “Alpha Damian, lovely party” said Raya as she came to stand by his side. “ Yeah. My mom did a great job. I am still wondering how she managed to pull this off. I mean she was on vacation” said Damian laughing. “ Well never underestimate the power of a mother” replied Raya grinning. Damien sighed. “ What is it? Are you still thinking about what elder Maurice said?” she asked him. “ I just can't get it out of my mind. I mean if my mate will be willing to stay by my side? We are mates, she should be willing to stay by my side. We are meant for each other” said Damian. “ It's okay. Let's take it one step at a time. We will figure it out” said Raya as she tapped him on his shoulder to comfort him. “ This party is for unmated wolves. Last I checked, you were mated with a daughter. I hope I don't have to face the wrath of your mate later” said Damian to her. She laughed. “ Oh come

Damian smirked as he stood face to face with his mate. The mate that just rejected him. “ I, alpha Damian Oak, alpha of the silver moon pack do not accept your rejection” he said to her still smirking. If she thinks that he was going to accept her rejection and let her go then she had another thing coming. “ What?” she asked surprised. “ You heard me. I do not accept your rejection” replied Damian. “ I don't care whether you accept it or not. I have rejected you. I am leaving” said Marissa as she turned to walk away from him. Damian grabbed her hand. “ Let go of me” she said to him as he dragged her inside. He took her to his bedroom and locked the door then he went to sit down on the bed. “ Have your seat” he said to her as he gestured to the bed but she refused and just stood there. He sat there for a few minutes in silence before he finally decided to speak. “ You are not a werewolf and you are not a vampire either. What are you?” asked Damian as he looked at her but

Let me tell you, you can't steal him from me. He is mine” she said to her in an angry tone as she folded her hands over her chest. Marissa was about to say something in reply to her when Oliver and Frank ran to her side. Frank was holding a tub of ice cream. “ What is happening here?” asked Frank as he glared at Jesse. She glared back at him. “ That is none of your business Frank” she said to him. “Leave Jesse if you don't want me to tell the alpha” said Oliver as he threatened her. “ Why don't you call him to come and save his little bitch” she sneered at him. “Leave Jesse” said Oliver in a meancing tone. Jesse glared one more time at Marissa. “ This isn't over yet” said Jesse as she stomped away. “ Are you okay Luna?” asked Frank as he looked at her. “ Yes. Thank you” she said to th

**** We are under attack. The words kept on repeating in Marissa's ears as she stood rooted to the ground. She was jolted back to reality when Jade grabbed her hand. She saw Frank fighting off a guy that wanted to attack her. “ We need to go” said Jade as she dragged her along. Oliver was in front of them clearing their path while Frank was protecting them from behind. The people that attacked them were putting on masks to hide their faces but it was obvious they were demons and they all seemed to be aiming for her. “ This way Luna. Let's go” said Oliver as he led them into a building. He punched in the passcode and the door opened. They were about entering inside when they were surrounded by people up to about twenty. “ Don't worry Luna. Everything is going to be fine. We will protect you with our lives” said Frank. Marissa shuddered. There was no way the two of them were going to defeat so many people. “ Hand over the brunette and we will let you live” said one of the men.
