Chapter 3. Ivy laid in bed…staring at the ceiling while the whole house was asleep. She tried to force herself to sleep but everytime she closed her eyes, her mind kept drifting back to the kiss they’d shared that night. The taste of his lips, the texture, and how she didn’t pull away quick enough…it all haunted her. She rolled over and squeezed her pillow like it would give her a strong hold on reality…but instead, the memories pressed stronger, deeper. And just like that, the night she’d been trying so hard not to remember, came rushing back into her mind…The Callahan estate was alive with music that night.
