AutumnI woke up from a dream that made me unsettled, and I found myself wrapped protectively in Dante’s arms.“Gosh, not again,” I lamented with regret.Then I quickly looked into the sheet and found out that I wasn’t undressed. Dangerous Attempt

DanteAutumn’s scream woke me up instantly, and I knew that it was her voice the moment I heard it.“Autumn?” I called, but she was evidently not in my room. “When did she leave?” I asked myself as I hurried out of bed.Before I dozed off, Autumn had been right here, sleeping peacefully in my arms, and that was after spending hours last night trying to console her.Never in my entire existence had I ever seen anyone cry nonstop for hours, but Autumn had. I was relieved when she eventually slept off at 3:00a.m, giving me the chance to also doze off even though I had intended to watch over her until dawn.I guess I hadn’t realized how tired I had been from the flight and every other thing that I had had to do all through yesterday.Then she screamed again, and it dawned on me that she was screaming from her own hotel room. I hurried out of my room, and because her room was open, I saw her standing by the door, but I saw the reason she was screaming.Her room had been turned upside down.
