Forbidden Desire: Tempted By My Stepbrother のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 131 - チャプター 140

Autumn“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry,” I apologized immediately and ran out of the hall, my heart thumping with fear. This had to be the most embarrassing moment of my life, and I really wished that this wasn’t happening. I wished that Mason had accepted to place me where I wouldn’t have to set eyes on Dante or anyone that knew me, but he hadn’t, and I had gone right ahead and caused a disaster even before the event could start properly.“Damn you, Dante,” I cursed in frustration as I hurried to a private place so that I could lick my wounds in peace and wallow in shame.I had been doing a great job keeping my identity from Dante’s eyes by keeping my head low. I knew when David walked in, and I deliberately stayed away from his corner of the hall. It wasn’t easy to hide myself from Dante, Maria, Dominic, and David because none of them had any inkling that I would be here, and because this was an event, they wouldn’t pay me much attention. They had this perfect event going on, so who on

Dante“What is it?” I asked her as her expression became horrified almost instantly.I could tell that it was something that was said to her on the phone, but Autumn wasn’t talking or moving. She wasn’t even blinking her eyes, and I became very worried. At first, I was feeling humiliated that she had not just turned down my kiss, but also stated the obvious, which was a really shameful thing to do, and I wondered why I ever did it in the face place. It was just that Autumn’s defiance turned me on sometimes, and now was part of those times. If I hadn’t touched her and if she hadn’t stood so closely to me, I would have been able to control the arousal I had been feeling since we were left alone in this room, but having her so close to me and the physical contact that pushed out every constraint, and self-control that I had been hanging on to.“What happened? Who is it?” I asked, but Autumn still wasn’t responding, and I worried that she might be going into a cardiac arrest.I could stil

Dante“Get these damn cameras off my face!” I yelled at everyone and they scurried away.I had wanted to go after Autumn, but David had stopped me, and now, I was just infuriated at how they could all turn something so sorrowful into gossip for the news.“I want this event over now!” I declared. My event manager was still standing there, and so she knew that the order was for her.“Sir, I don’t think it is a good idea,” she said carefully, aggravating me in the process.“You must think I am joking,” I snarled at her.“Dante, you can’t possibly just call off an event that is this important,” David chipped in. “Let her carry on with it,” he suggested.“This is my company, and I decide what happens, and my decision is that I want every single one of them out of my company right now!” I barked. She had the audacity to still stand there and hope that I would change my mind.“Did you hear what I just said or do I need to fire you as well?!” I roared at her and she scurried away. “Damn!” I e

Autumn“You cannot possibly be serious,” I said when I recovered from my shock.“You heard me right, Autumn,” Dante said.He was either oblivious of his fiancée’s reaction, or he didn’t just care. Whatever the case may be, I just couldn’t let that happen.“Let me have my cell phone,” I demanded, going back to my initial demand.“Excuse us, Camille,” Dante said, and I wondered why on earth he was asking Camille to leave.I expected Camille to decline, but I was wrong. Without saying a word or protesting, Camille simply walked out of the bedroom. I noticed slightly that she and Maria didn’t spare each other a look. There was a spark of animosity between them, but now wasn’t the time to be dwelling on that. After Camille left, Dante turned to Maria and said, “Could you leave us for a minute?”Even Maria? She obviously didn’t like that even though Dante sounded more subtle when he spoke to her than when he simply commanded Camille.“Dante, what is going on?” She asked him angrily.I was a

DanteI was barely out of Autumn’s room when my phone rang, and when I checked the caller and saw that it was Granduncle Gonzalez, I groaned internally.I knew that he had to be calling me because of all that had happened. As much as I wanted to ignore it, I couldn’t. Now that I would be travelling for Autumn’s dad’s funeral in a few days, I would need to put a few things in order before that.“To my chamber right now,” he ordered the moment I picked the call.“I knew it,” I said to myself.I simply used the stairs and went out of the house. Maybe it was even better to deal with Granduncle Gonzalez instead of Maria, because I knew that whether I liked it or not, an argument was brewing with Maria. I only explained to her why I was seen holding Autumn in my arms like that, and she had been a little sympathetic. What I didn’t tell her was that I would be going along with her.And that was because I hadn’t even known that I would be travelling with her.The moment Autumn had declared tha
