AutumnWhen I got to the room, Abel called back. It was as though he knew just when I had left Dante’s presence before calling, and that was one of the worries I was having after I ended the call.“Autumn, are you hurt? Did he hurt you?” Abel asked with so much concern the moment I picked up the call.“No, he didn’t hurt me,” I responded. “Dante would never hurt me,” I added firmly, wondering why Abel would think that.I understood that he had overheard Dante speaking to me authoritatively, but that didn’t mean that Dante would do anything to harm me. Aside from the first time he pointed a gun at me, he had never tried to hurt me physically.“He is a deadly mafia, Autumn, and he can,” Abel said, trying hard to make me believe him. “He harms anyone that crosses paths with him. What makes you think that you are different?” Abel asked me carefully.I swallowed hard and shook my head.A lot of things were going on right now, and the last thing I needed was to have argument about Dante, es

DanteCamille’s confession took me completely off balance.“Is this because of what we had?” I asked her.“No, even before that,” she responded. “I always have, Dante, and I thought that now that Maria is out of the way, we can…” she continued, but her words were beginning to itch my ears.“Camille,” I called, stopping her from continuing her statement. “You have always been like a sister to me, just the way Dominic has been to me, and it will always be that way. I thought we both agreed that what happened was a mistake?” I asked her, unable to shield my rising temper.“I am not your sister in anyway, but yet, you take me as one, but you don’t see Autumn as your sister, right?” Camille asked, her anger also rising. “What is this about?” I asked her.She was sounding completely different from the young woman I had known all my life. The three of us would play together all the time until Dominic and I had to go away for some time for training, but even when we got back, we maintained t

Autumn“Autumn,” Dante called softly.I heard a soft and gentle voice, which I recognized as Dante’s even before I opened my eyes.“Are you okay?” Dante asked with concern.“Yes, yes, I am,” I responded, trying to clear the dizziness from my eyes. And that was when I realized that it was night already.I hadn’t even realized that it was this late.Dante had been driving for a while, and after eating the food he bought, I had tried to look around, feeling like we were going on a road trip, but soon enough, we were out of the city completely and there weren’t much to see except landscapes and trees, and woods, and I had dozed off.“How long have I been sleeping?” I asked Dante.“For about an hour,” Dante responded.“Oh…I thought I have been sleeping for hours,” I said, trying to sit up.“No, just an hour,” he said.“Where are we?” I asked.“At a motel,” Dante said, and my eyes widened with worry.I had never been in a motel before now, and it just felt a little creepy. I looked around

AutumnDante’s words were arousing, and they made my cheeks heated up immediately, but I turned to the other side so that we wouldn’t have to act on the desire that his singular statement had aroused, and that was because I was thinking of something else.I overheard of all Dante’s conversation with his dad, and his attempts at trying to reach Dominic, and they were quite disturbing.I didn’t like the fact that Dante was hiding almost everything from me, and yet, he kept pulling me towards his direction.I closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep, but the thoughts wouldn’t leave me alone. And that was when I felt it; Dante’s hot breath at the back to my neck and his erection poking me from behind.“What is going on?” I asked, but surprisingly, my voice was very low and husky, and I didn’t even realize that I was still feeling the effect of his statement until I spoke. If I had known, I would have kept quiet and pretended that I wasn’t feeling anything, but how could I have achieved that

AutumnI hadn’t even realized that I had dozed off while I was waiting for Dante until I was woken up by the ray of early morning sunlight seeping in through the window.“Dante didn’t return to sleep in the room,” I stated to myself as I looked around. If he had returned, I would have known, but he hadn’t.After he stormed out of the room with his cell phone, I had waited for about three hours before I dozed off, and yet, Dante didn’t show up.“Where did he spend the night?” I asked myself worriedly.I got up and sat on the bed, thinking worriedly. I could bet that whatever he had seen that had made him leave the room in that manner must have been from either Dominic or his dad; those were the two people he had been trying hard to reach earlier.I picked up my phone and called Dante, but it went right to voicemail without even ringing, and that only made me more worried.“What could be wrong?” I asked myself.I wasn’t really pleased to be in such a worrisome state, and this was becaus
