Brinda's P.O.V “I don't want to go home, Sof,” I said softly as we stood outside the coffee shop. I hadn't planned to say them out loud, but once they left my mouth, I knew that they were true. Home didn't feel like home anymore. It felt like a place filled with memories I couldn't breathe around. Sofie stopped walking. She turned slowly while her eyes kept of searching me like there was something there. “Then don't,” she said gently. “Come with me.”I quickly hugged her “Thank you Sof, for being my safe place.”Her apartment welcomed us with warmth.
