The mansion was half asleep when Rosa arrived, the iron gates opening for her without a sound. Her taxi drove away as soon as she stepped out, leaving her alone at the foot of the steps. For a moment, she stood motionless, glancing around the mansion. The guards stationed at the entrance stood unbothered when she passed.
