Lahat ng Kabanata ng Luna For Seven Days : Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Ember’s POVInstead of getting back home directly, I decided to see Uston as it's been days we've never met. I had left the remote town where I live with my mother to the pack where I submitted application letters, seeking any type of job available. My mom didn't let me leave at first. She had always been against me coming into the pack as she made it clear that we and the people who lived in the pack weren't of the same level, so I should avoid them.I cared less. Not when I met Uston in the woods while searching for herbal medicines. He had come hunting with his friends, and there we met and exchanged contacts. Since then, our relationship has been the best thing that has happened to me.I pressed the code to his room, and it unlocked, and then I walked in.He wasn't home. His room was unkempt, so I had to put everything in order before his return. While doing that, I decided to go check if there were meals in his kitchen, but unfortunately, his fridge was empty, and the dishes wer

Ember’s POVMy heart dropped into my belly. I was in a mess.Who could believe the man I slapped the past day would be sitting before me as the CEO? This was supposed to be a dream. “Come take a seat, lady.”I rolled my eyes to the side, only to catch a glimpse of him getting up from his chair. I wasn't sure whether he was coming to me or not, so I immediately turned around, my limbs trembling.I bowed to him, ashamed to meet his gaze, “Please, Sir, I'm not suitable to work here. You could get some other person.”He scoffed before getting his ass on the table, crossing his arms against his chest. “Who said so? If you weren't suitable for the job, I wouldn't call you for an interview.”I raised my face a bit, and our eyes locked, sending chills down my spine.“We need a seamstress, lady, and I know you can do a nice job.”I shook my head, my words coming in ragged breaths. “The truth is that I'm not a professional. It would be advisable to get a professional. I didn't even know that I

Ember’s POVAfter he left, I sank my ass into the bed. The foam was just so soft and mild. I had never for once dreamt of staying in such a room before. Even Uston’s room wasn't as spacious as this single one that I was assigned to stay in.I scanned the room, eyes darting from one part to another, then I saw the furnished wardrobe, which glittered with fine wood. I stood and opened it, and in it were dresses of different kinds, hung in it.“Was it kept in advance or always for his submissives?” I muttered to myself, still checking. It stunned me to the bone how everything was taken care of before we arrived, although I still had doubts that no one had ever used the dresses there.I saw undies too—which I know can't be shared.“It's all new.” I assured myself and shut it back.Standing there, my palms transfixed on my waist. The round center table caught my attention, then the two seaters' sofa and two sized stools at the sides. Everything was heaven on earth.I decided to check the

Ember’s POV Back to my room, I kept pacing about, from one edge to the other. My heart wavered, thoughts occupied by what I had just been told by the alpha prince.I felt like I was burning in the flames. My gasps came in ragged breaths. How do I handle this? What could I do to stop this?Nothing. Just nothing. All I have to do now is to pray for my mother's recovery. Or should she just stay that way? Will it end everything? I shook my head. No matter what, my mum needs to survive. Even if she committed the crime, I believe she did it for a reason. She can't just poison an Alpha king knowing what came with it. What if the alpha king wanted to force himself on her and she did that to save herself? What if the late alpha threatened her in one way or the other, and that was her only option to save herself from his trap? My mother is so upright that I can't believe she did that so easily. She might even be blackmailed. The knock at the door made me flinch. I wasn't expecting anyone.

Ember’s POVThe sound of rushing water awoke me. My eyes squinted, while I slowly studied my room. I felt so tired, like I had been to a gym for the first time. My head was so heavy as if filled with bricks.I gripped the blanket, squeezing it, while trying to clear up the daze in my mind.“How long will it take for you to sit up?”That voice…My eyes snapped wide, blurry at first, but immediately cleared up. I quickly threw my butt backwards, lips opened and shut.“Why are you so shocked?”He had a little towel in his palm, drying the water on it.“Remember, you're going to the Alpha’s conference meeting today with me. You have to act as my Luna, so get that fucking ass of yours away from that bed.” he gnashed his teeth and walked to the sofa.I was at a loss for words as every moment last night flooded my head. When I pulled up the blanket, I was completely nude….my body fucking bare.So it was him…why did he get drunk last night only to bump into my room? He doesn't even regret it.
