Raymond POVAero was howling in pain night after night, so I spent anywhere but the hospital. He was unhappy that we were with unmated females and that we were welcomed into any house we stopped by. He hated me as he thought of our mate. She was beautiful, and what I was doing was hurting myself as well. But I couldn't help but feel disappointed. I should be glad the moon goddess had given me a mate. But why did she give me one that was afraid of me? How could she run a pack with me? I couldn't see her being a strong Luna. She filled my head even when I was in bed with a female.The female tonight was more spontaneous than the others; her moans echoed in her room as she spread her knees more and lifted her delicate ass to me. Thunder rolled and shook the house slightly. My hand reached out and grabbed Raymond’s arm. Slowly, I sat up in the bed and looked towards the shadow in front of me. I let my hand fall to his and slightly tugged him closer to me. Raymond didn't ask questions as he sat on the bed. I moved and wrapped the black blanket around my body as he pulled the comforter away and slid into the bed beside me. I hated that this felt right, I hated that I didn't hate it. My lip curled up a few times as I listened to the howl outside the room.We lay awkwardly for a moment until I turned towards his body and pushed my face into his neck, taking in a deep breath. He didn't smell like anyone but himself now. His scent was intoxicating and calming. My hand fell on his chest as I rested on his arm. He wrapped that arm around my back as I closed my eyes and allowed myself to fall asleep.When I woke up, the room was bright, sunlight pooling in front of me, showing dust that was in the air.

"Alpha, there is someone-" A man started to say, but Raymond only held up his unused hand."There is," Raymond said and squeezed my hand,"My mate is here. But, she doesn't like company." He said in a low voice. I kissed his hand and pulled it closer to me, making his body shrug to the side."Of course, Alpha. I have not heard of you finding your mate. Congratulations, Alpha, and uh, Luna." The man said."T-thank you," I said in a very low voice, knowing they heard me."Thank you." Raymond said, I could see a small smile on his face, then he turned serious, "Have there been any reports of rouges?""There have been packs spotted, but there haven't been any more rogues. We've been monitoring the surrounding areas and setting up multiple cameras in the forest. We have yet to find anyone." A voice said"We've also contacted the neighboring packs." A voice said. A voice I knew, mixed emotions ran through my body as I tried to remember that
