Aspen DAY FIVE My time was already up. So I could not stay longer that day to ask about the flowers that were in my mother’s room. The next day, I spoke to a nurse and she had no idea how the flower found its way to mom’s room and there was no record of anyone else coming to visit her except for me. I got very scared but the nurse assured me that it must have been a mistake. She said that it happened sometimes. It was either that a person dropped the flower by mistaking the room or it was a mixed delivery. I accepted her explanation and the flower was taken away. I had been going to the hospital since then and the real truth was that one hour was simply not enough for me to do what I wanted to do. I barely got enough time to talk to my mother and Luke had been coming around whenever he was less busy. And we would have conversations from time to time.
