I escorted Alice out of the Limo as we walked into the grand opening hall, Mason did... good with this place. it had every single fitness place you could think of. A volleyball court, a basket ball court, a football court, a soccer Court, a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, a ballet hall, a race track, think of every single thing you can imagine, they had it. I couldn't even pull this off even if I wanted to, this was pure talent. We were led into the hall and taken to our seats, they took us round for sight seeing, some of us even tested some of the equipment there and then we started a fund raising. There was so much donation because people could obviously see the potentials this place carried and there were so many companies that wanted to become share holders. Mason has only been in New York for a month and he has had this place in chokehold. After the event was over, I sent my greetings to him and wanted to leave when someone told me Mason begged I stay a little longer

CHARLIE * * "Okay, what do you want us to talk about?", I asked. "Graduation night, my car broke down, came over to your house, wanted to crash at your place, planned on skipping the party because my girlfriend and I broke up that day and she was going to be there, it was like God wanted me to not go, I see you a little bit drunk, which is weird because, you never drink, or you're not allowed to, you talk about being frustrated, I tell you to rebel and you say you can't, I ask you what you want and you say me, you kiss me, we get intimate, you fall asleep, you wake up and you're looking panicked, you tell me to leave that it was a mistake, let's start from there, explain that night". I exhaled, "Okay, I've practiced how I was going to explain myself to you more than a thousand times since that day. I've liked you Mason, a lot, since I could remember, back then I just thought I admired the kind of person you were and looked up to you or whatever because I never even knew what it

"Charlie, there's my favourite Son in the whole world", my mother said walking into my office to hug me. I smiled, "Only child", I said and she laughed and we hug. I can tolerate her a little, to an extent, but you see my Dad? no "What brings you both here this early?", I asked. "Your father wants us to have a meeting, a lot actually", she said. "Well let's do that then, I have a busy day today", I said and got settled in on my seat. "Your Wife called and complained", my father started. I rolled my eyes in my head. "What did she say?", I asked opening my laptop. "That you created a list of rules to follow and that you have refused to sleep in the same bed with her". "Okay and?", I asked, still wondering where the problem is. "I want a Grandchild before my 69th birthday Charlie", he said. .I chuckled and looked at him. "Well then, adopt one if you're so desperate, I'm not ready to be a father", I said. "That was not up for discussion Charlie, I want a Grandchild before my

I had a very long day today, there was just so much happening at the same time. From the confrontation with my Dad to back to back meetings, I don't know why everyone was stressing me out, contracts and deals that we should have closed off weeks ago were still pending because my Dad asked that we wait. I had to do it all by myself, and by the time I was done it was late. I sat in my car so tired, I stayed at work till 1 am today. Just as the driver was about to take off, I got a call from Mason. Just the person I needed to talk to right now. "Hey", he said, his voice so calm and soothing. "Hi", I said. "I didn't think you were going to be up till now", he said. "I'm actually still at work , I just... finished up". "Damn seriously, must have had a really rough day?", he asked. "Worse than I can explain", I said. "Tell me about it". "My Dad... had a heated conversation with him today", I said. "Oh Okay, now I'm invested", he said sounding really interested. "It's a really

CHARLIE * * For the first time in a while, I've had a very normal 2 weeks. Alice is minding her business, we have short conversations about our day, we attend meetings we need to together, my Dad hasn't been at work in a while and I've been having a great time, well that was until today. Alice barged into my office unannounced. I thought there was a problem because she has never been to my office before. "Alice?", Conrad asked shocked. "Who is the woman in front of your office that kept saying I can't come in and see you?", she asked dropping her bag on the table and walked casually to my fridge and opened it. "Uhm, my secretary?". "I've fired her, get a new one, a male I don't like her", she demanded. "A male why?", Conrad asked. "She looks like a slut, who knows maybe she'll start making advances towards you and I don't want that". Oh Alice, you're worrying about the wrong thing. "She's the best I've had around here, I'm not firing her", I stated "Why? because you l
