Teddy’s POV I watched as Mike finally drove off, leaving us to our peace. When I tuned around, Melody was trying not to cry. “Oh, Melody, Baby, what’s wrong?” I went up to her; her breaths were ragged and she was hiccuping from trying not to cry. “I’m just a little overwhelmed, just give me a minute.” I took the food and placed it in the kitchen, then leading Melody from the doorway and sitting her down on the couch. I sat next to her and rubbed my hand up and down her back. Eventually she leaned into me, slowing her crying to just a few tears. “Do you want to talk about it?” I finally asked her after a few more minutes.
