Spend time with each other

BLAIRE'S POV I wished I could have remained in bed for a few more minutes. Just a few. Even if it was just one. But there was too much to do and I couldn't ignore everything. I had to force myself out of bed and prepare for work. Fabian helped me prepare as well. He pulled me in for a hug and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. “Try not to stress yourself too much okay? I'll come pick you up from work. Just let me know when you're getting off.” I nodded in response and hugged me back. After leaving home, I buried myself underneath the pile of work I had to do. Everything was just so stressful but I just had to do it and not procrastinate. A knock on my door made me lift my head from the pile of paper work in front of me. My personal assistant walked in and closed the door behind herself. “Good morning ma'am, have you been here for long?” I shook my head although I had been there for about an hour plus. “I got in just a while ago. Good morning.”“I saw the files you placed on my

I miss you

BLAIRE'S POVI stared at her, not believing what she had just said. How dare she try to fight me for my own husband?! It didn't matter how long they had been friends for, what mattered was the fact that we were already married and I was his wife. I turned my attention to Fabian, waiting for him to make the decision. I wasn't going to argue with anyone else about sharing my own husband. Anything he decided, I would go with him. He cleared his throat and smiled softly. "I understand you Jane but this is my wife we are talking about, I can never say no to her for a friend's sake. I'm sorry, we'll have to hang out some other time."I noticed the change in expression on her face, she couldn't hide the irritation that plagued her face. But she forced a smile and let out an awkward chuckle. "Oh Fabian, what's wrong with you? Don't you know I'm just joking with you? Do you really think I am trying to compare myself with your wife? I was just kidding."She picked up her bag and smiled at bot

Her mysterious partner

THIRD POV Jane bolted out of the office filled with so much rage than she knew she could handle. She wanted to break things around her, hit somebody or scream at the top of her lungs. But she refused to act like a crazy person in public. So she got into the elevator, ignoring the young lady behind a desk, bowing her head down at her. Still, she couldn't scream because people were in the elevator as well. A little too crowded than she would like. Without any choice, she glued herself to the back of the elevator and allowed herself a moment to breathe properly, just so she would calm down. It kept failing her, total calmness kept slipping from her grip like something that was slippery. Finally out of the crowded space, she dashed for the underground parking lot, got into her car and drove out without wasting a single second. "That bitch just had to come in when we were finally having a good time," she mumbled angrily to herself. "Just because she's his wife, does that mean no other

Fake husband

THIRD POV "What are you doing just standing there?" A male voice said from not too far from where she stood. Jane jumped, startled by the voice that cut through her thoughts. She turned to face the man that had spoken and a soft sigh left her mouth as she noticed it was her mysterious partner. "Where are you coming from?" She asked him, trying to calm herself down. "I was waiting for you, just in case you went in the wrong direction." He said to her in a calm tone. He nudged his head forward towards the building, his hands buried in the depth of his pocket. It felt weird being with a man like him, he was dressed in a black hoodie with his face hiding beneath the hoodie. His eyes were dark, its blue color seemed to have lost its brightness. He looked thinner than she remembered, or maybe she was just exaggerating due to the fact that she was afraid. Maybe he just didn't have much sleep, explaining the way his eyes looked so sunken. Didn't he say he was a public figure? Who could

Cloud nine

THIRD POVHe waited patiently to be checked by her, hoping her decision would be to his favor. When she told him to turn around, he obediently did as he was told. When she told him to smile, take off his glasses, hold his hair up and laugh loudly, he did everything without complaining. He had expected that much. But then her next request left him stuttered. He stared at her with wide eyes, surprised. "What?" He asked her. "Take off your shirt, I need to see your chest and muscles. If you have any." She said in a flat tone. When he turned to look at "partner", he was given a casual nod of his head and nothing more. Left with no choice, he peeled his T-shirt off his body and tossed it aside. He was pleased when he received nods of approval. But then her request became even more bizarre. "Take off your pants too. I want to see everything." She said casually. When he turned to look at the man sitting next to her, he received a shrug. Left with no choice, he unbuckled his pants and

My peace

BLAIRE'S POVI remained silent, not listening to what he had just said. But I could feel a fluttering sensation rising in my chest and my face was definitely red and heating up. He was my husband so words like these definitely should not make me blush like a sixteen year old in love. But it did and I failed at hiding it.A soft smile played on his lips and he let his eyes fall close as he laid on my leg. “I hope you don't mind if I go to sleep? I'm a bit stressed out.” “Only if we can fall asleep together on a very soft bed that is probably ours.” I responded. I was so tired and I could use some sleep myself. It had taken a miracle for me not to fall asleep on the road on my way here. I could feel the fatigue seeping into my bones and I knew that if I kept refusing to sleep, denying rest a chance, I would definitely black out. He rose from my legs and nodded his head. “I think that happens to be a very wonderful idea. Then when we wake up, we can eat all the chocolate you bought f

What did she find out?

BLAIRE'S POV After our evening filled with crispy chocolate cookies and milk, we decide to huddle around to watch a movie while waiting for Jessica and Jason. The family had never felt any more complete with those two around. “Feeling any better?” Fabian suddenly asked. I turned my head to meet his eyes, his dark and seductive eyes. My brow arched at his question and he went on to explain what he meant. “You fell asleep in seconds in the car, I didn't need anyone to tell me how stressed you must have been. You should have just gone home to get some rest instead of driving to my office in such a condition. Thank goodness nothing bad happened to you.” He had read my thoughts. My exact thoughts. I was thinking about how I had managed to drive over to his office without falling asleep in the driver's seat.Tired yawns left my mouth repeatedly and I was almost forced to pull over just to get some rest. Maybe it was determination to see him that kept me awake, I could never be sure. “

Mysterious man indeed

THIRD POVJane had the time of her life with two strangers. Two men she had only just met. One of which was a mysterious stranger with an eerie ambience around him. She felt pleased with her fake husband and asked him as she put on her dress. "What is your name?" "Ryan Flores." He introduced himself while putting on his pants. She smiled. “Nice name. Whoever asks, you're just Ryan, no need for a last name that isn't mine. Understood?” “Yes ma'am.” He responded. She turned towards her partner, he sat quietly on the sofa, smoking on a cigar and watching her pull up her dress. A wicked smirk formed on her lips as she noticed and she purposely pulled her dress up slower than before. “Partner,” she called out to him. “I think I will be able to give you what you want now. Shall we talk?”His eyes finally met hers and he looked pleased with her words. Turning to look at Ryan, he ordered him, “go wait outside.” Ryan responded with a bow of his head, picked up his t-shirt and left them

Make the call

BLAIRE'S POV I kept watching Jessica as she tried to act like she wasn't hiding something. She refused to meet my eyes and continued to stuff her face. I was about to question her when I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen. Turning my attention towards the kitchen door, a smile played across my face as I saw Fabian walking into the kitchen. “What are you two talking about?” He asked with an arched brow as he pulled out a chair next to me and sat down.“Huh?” I met Jessica's eyes and she shook her head, trying to tell me not to mention it to him. I turned back to look at Fabian and smiled. “Nothing.” He arched his brow at me, seeing through the lies that slipped from my lips. “Nothing?” I nodded my head with a steady smile on my face. “Mmn-hmp. The kids?” From his expression, he decided not to press any further since I didn't want to tell him. I loved how much he respected my decisions and barely questioned me. “They’re asleep. Jason was the first to fall asleep, he must have

Cunning and sexy

THIRD POV Blaire knew she had to attend the dinner at least to make her husband pleased with her. He might say the decision was in her hand but she knew what he wanted. So she decided to act mature. “It's alright, we can just stay briefly. Tell her we'll be available for dinner tomorrow night. You don't have any luncheon planned for tomorrow right?” He nodded his head. “Yeah. Thanks for understanding.” He responded before placing a kiss on her cheek. With his phone in his hand, he walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room. Blaire watched him leave and when she was alone with Jessica once again, a sigh drew from her lips. Jessica reached out and touched her hand. “Don't worry darling, I'm here for you. I'll sit right next to you and support you all through the excruciating dinner.” A smile played on her lips as she spokeBlaire smiled back at her best friend and nodded her head. “We’ll make it through.” *Jane sat cross legged on the sofa and straightened her back as
