Semua Bab Hired Wife: Bab 51 - Bab 60

Writer's POV "What if the third party is here, on this island?" Charles asked Christopher just before he got into his own van."If they decide to risky coming here, do I shoot on sight?"Christopher did not respond immediately.Instead, he thought about Charles' question for a while. All this time, he's only been focused on saving Allison and killing Matthieu that he forgot who played the bigger role in all this. The person Mathieu was likely working for was probably on this island, maybe even watching him right now."Bring the bastard to me." Christopher seethed with anger as he thought of different ways he would make the person pay for even daring to think about going after his family and abducting his wife."Go! Go! Go!" Charles waved his hand forward as he commander the soldiers he had brought from the country and the island security officers.Floodlights swept across the hangar as the men moved in tight formation. When they had moved a certain distance, Charles held his hand out

Allison The annoying smell of antiseptic, mixed with something much more calmer and nicer, filled my lungs. Then slowly, I heard beeping sounds. They sounded distant at first but the more conscious I became, the louder they became. The throbbing pain in my head made me want to destroy the source of the beeping sound. It felt like with every beep, the pain worsened.I touch my head to see if it had been split open because it felt like it.Lifting my heavy eyelids, I was welcomed by the white ceiling above my head and bright light that I soon realized were sunrays flowing into the ward through the window. My consciousness came in fragments- it didn't rush back all at once. But when it did, I almost slipped into unconsciousness again. My throat and lips were dry, my arms were sore and my body ached so badly, it felt like I had been hit by a moving train.I felt a sting in my arm that I realized came from the IV line next to the heart monitor.I felt something warm on my leg. It wasn't f

Allison My bruises had faded and my body had healed but I still hadn't recovered from what happened.I still had nightmares of what happened. When I closed my eyes, I saw myself in that dirty room. When I woke up in the morning, I could still feel the ropes biting into my skin.Constantly, I heard Mathieu's taunting voice in my head and Christopher's deceptive and confusing words in my head. The conflicted each other so much, it nearly drove me to madness. In the beginning, I didn't care because I trusted him.I trusted that he was still the logical middle schooler I knew and the contract was not going to drag me into any trouble whatsoever. But ever since Seychelles, I'd had my doubts so I began digging into him.I had Never even searched his company before but when we returned to the country, I did.I began investigating Christopher- his company, hid past relationships, his contracts, his friends in College.Every single thing.Every search ended up with the same summary. The golde

Christopher She should not know- she could not have known.Fuck! Matthieu did not know I had a daughter. He gloated about everything and never kept quiet about anything he knew. There was absolutely no way Mathieu had known I had a daughter and had not said a word about it.No, maybe I was just overthinking.Matthieu could not and did not know about Sophia but then.....He did not know about this estate. The only people who did were my mother and Charles. If Matthieu didn't tell Allison anything about this place, how the hell was she here?"Sir?" Charles lingered by my side. She whispered something to herself. I badly wanted to know what she had said and what she was thinking. She waited a moment longer before turning around and leaving in a Cab.She had left the house in a fucking Cab.That was how I didn't know she had left in the first place, let alone got to the Prison.Had she caught on to the fact that I was making James inform me of every place he drove her to?I did not want

Allison The drive back was silent. My eyes remained on Christopher's hands on the wheel. They were still covered in blood and he did not look the slightest bit uncomfortable. When we finally arrived at the mansion, I pushed the door open.I ignored him when he came to my side with an umbrella and simply walked through the rain to the house.I thought he would leave the moment I got out of the car but he didn't.He followed me into the mansion and to the bedroom.I continued to ignore him and just went to the vanity table. My hands continued to shake as I brought them to my ear to take off my earrings.Every time I blinked, I saw the man's limp body on the floor.Every time I breathed, I smelled the atmosphere from that night in Seychelles- blood mixed with alcohol and fear."Allison..." His voice was low and calm- the animal from the club was gone.He took a tentative step forward, shame evident in his eyes.I ignored him but he tried again,"Are you hurt?"I turned slowly, still con
