KELLY'S POV As the evening approached, Anna's plan was set in motion. I slipped into the stunning red dress Jimmy had sent, feeling like a million bucks. KELVIN'S POV It was about time I did what I should have done a long time ago—introduce my girl. Kelly was mine, and mine alone. JIMMY'S POV I trudged down the stairs, the scene before me felt like a knife to the gut. My entire family, gathered at the dining table, Kelly sitting serenely next to Kelvin like a newlywed bride. The sight made my blood boil like hell. Kelly glanced at me, her eyes shifting apologetically, but I saw frustration simmering beneath the surface. Who was this person, and why did I resemble them? I felt a shiver run down my spine as I thought about the pain and sadness in the grandmother's eyes. KELLY'S POV Thomas's words hung in the air like a challenge: "The true murderer was Veronica" Kelvin's eyes widened in shock, his gaze fixed on Thomas as if waiting for the words to sink in. "What?" Kelvin's voice was barely above a whisper, laced with a mix of shock and disbelief. "How sure are you?" he demanded, his tone rising. "And why didn’t you ever mention it?" Thomas's expression twisted in pain. "I did, but your father never believed me. You were young then, and I’ve been hoping you’d come so I could tell you."
