KELVIN'S POV I watched Kelly stumble out of the restaurant,Jimmy's eyes buried at her back until she disappeared into the hallway. KELLY'S POV The week crawled by like a slug on a summer sidewalk, slow and sticky, but then it hit its stride like a rollercoaster picking up speed. School was a wild ride, with Debbie and Sandrine hurling warnings and shade like they were going out of their way to make me disappear from Jimmy's life; "Leave Jimmy the hell alone! Jimmy is mine." KELVIN'S POV The moment the door closed behind me, my heart shattered into a million pieces, the shards piercing my soul like a thousand knives.
