Roman's POV The moment I stepped out, the clean air first hit me. Land, wide open. Clean lawns, stone paths, water features, everywhere spotless. Manicured to perfection, very suited for the sophisticated bearing the environment should give. The building stood at the center. In front of us. I took a quick scan, proud of the excellence despite the fact finishing touches had to be concluded on over the weekend."Now where is she?" I muttered, putting my glasses on. A smirk on my lips at the thought of her stunned self checking it all out.A few scans to the left searching for a body, another scan to the right, and...viola!Found her.Exactly where I'd expected. The stone paths leading to the outside. But of course she'd paused halfway, partly stunned and this was no ordinary place she could just run out and get a cab. This place was different. My domain. And unless I gave the order, she wouldn't even make it past the first gate, talk more of the second."Can you come back now?" I cal

ALINA'S POV "Girl, this place is...."Amazing?" I provided, smiling."Amazing? It's more than that! This is incredible!" She gushed, laughing out loud like a manic. An overly excited manic."When I told you to move out, I didn't expect THIS 'kind' of moving out. You have out done yourself, cheers!"We clicked glasses, I laughed out. Happy too."Oh?" She paused, teasing. "Let's click again,"We did. "Again,"We did."Do you hear that?" She whispered, her voice dropped low."Hear what?" I asked concerned looking at my glass, hers, and then back to her face. "I don't hear-She clicked our glasses again, sassy. "That's the sound of you getting into money."What?"You're going to be swimming in some moneyyy. Some dollars baby girl, oh my God!""Oh God," I rolled my eyes then, not minding her silly self as she danced on the couch. Drink in hand."You're just full of shit, honestly. And here I thought something genuinely happened to the glasses.""What can happen to these beauties, c'mon."

ALINA'S POV For the rest of the week after that, a thorough social disassociation was carried out. By me that is. Meaning no contact. No association. No confrontation, no greetings, no- no communication. Let's just say I and my 'dearest ' neighbour didn't cross paths at all for the rest of the week, and I'm telling you, my days have never been more peaceful. Really. Though I did have to meet up and put up with a couple of unscrupulous set persons now that I had my paycheck. My new and improved paycheck. Things otherwise went well. I got to see my ball of light too. The best part. But after a week long of peace and somewhat stability in my soul. Reality hit. The weekends. My first weekend at my luxuriously furnished and free apartment. Meaning crossing paths. Definitely crossing paths! I may have been able to avoid him all week, both at the house and at the office. Strictly doing that which I should do, and sending out everything for his approvals without mee

ALINA'S POV Oh my God."The hell?" I sat frozen on my seat. Drink halfway between my lips, eyes blinking. Blinking and most definitely not looking away as he rose completely from the pool. Stepping out. Water splashing everywhere from his form. His focus elsewhere. Of course. Cause why would he consciously do this? Do that. T-t-hat thing he just did with his thighs. His legs. Stepping out like that.Or was I imagining it?Was I really starting to imagine him now after coming across him way too many today??"Yeah? Have them sent up. Quickly." I heard his voice say into the phone. Standing directly opposite me. From the side. In front of the pool chairs there, one of them, which I hadn't seen was being used earlier. How did I not see it?? I watched him say some more things on the phone. Typing a few times, then dropping the call and bending over to carefully tuck the phone away like it had been. His arms stretching out, muscles on the back, the waist, all of it contracting. His stupi

ALINA'S POV "Fuck some -no! I don't agree to that.""Yeah right, virgin.""Cleo!""What!" She looked up from her phone, "I'm trying to help you here, can't you see it? You've gone celibate for far too long, your body is protesting. What happens when you can't handle it anymore?"Anymore? She was reacting like this...what if I told her these dreams actually had participants. Participants that I recognised, worked with, and apparently had the face of my current boss! She would lose her wits! Good thing I didn't say that. Yet."You have to do this, don't you want it? Want the dreams to end?""I do, but-"That settles it then!" She cut off, "And that reminds me, you're entitled to free nights at Oxygen right?""What has that got to do with this?" I stared at her, suspicious."It means no need to get you a membership," she said, putting her phone down completely. "The shit is way too expensive anyways, we'll just have to use your free nights. What you say?"I stared at her, the phone, our
