Aria's pov My feet were moving before my mind could even catch up. Hope. That was the only word echoing in my head as I ran toward the burning building. Then, suddenly, I was off the ground. Strong arms wrapped around me, hauling me back. “Stop it, Michael! Put me down!” I screamed, kicking, my voice breaking into sobs. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think.
