บททั้งหมดของ Grimaldi's Blood and Vows: บทที่ 91 - บทที่ 100

[ARIETTA’S POV]I gave birth in another country. I haven’t had the chance to tell Pierce about my pregnancy. I also don’t have much contact with the people I met in the US, except for Blaire, who has always been there for me.My parents made sure no one could track us. Even though they knew they couldn’t just release our flight information, they still made sure no one would find out. Dad is an influential person, so I’m confident that if Pierce ever asks for information about my departure, he won’t get it.Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw my baby for the first time. It’s been months since I started living my new life here. Life has been easier for me, thanks to the help of my parents. Dad visits us often. He can’t stay with us here in Germany because of the business, but sometimes I try to convince him. I tell him that he might have a hard time being alone in the US.I also ask about Papa, but my father says there’s no news. I’m not sure if he’s hiding something from me, but he s

[ARIETTA’S POV]That being said, I cried and cried because of what I found out. What the heck! It’s easier said than done. After a few moments of convincing myself that I was happy for Pierce, I couldn’t help but cry from the pain it caused.I drove all the way to Heidelberg and hung out with my friends at night. Ariet was already asleep, and I left her with his nanny. Mom was also with them. I felt like I really needed to unwind. I didn’t care if I went home drunk, I just needed to forget the news that Pierce was engaged.I drank a lot. My friends were dancing or making out with whoever. I couldn’t care less; they’re at that age for those things. All I wanted was to get drunk. I won’t drive tonight, so I know for sure that I’ll get home alive. How many shots of tequila have I had by now? How many whiskeys have I ordered from the bartender in front of me? I don’t know, I lost count. Whatever. Now that alcohol is controlling my system, I have the guts to curse Pierce’s name. ‘You moved

[ARIETTA’S POV]I went back to Kaiserslautern with Ariet. I saw them one day in the living room, playing. I also noticed the new toys Ariet had, toys I didn’t remember buying."Where did these toys come from?" I observed them closely; they were high-quality toys.Ariet giggled, clearly happy with his new toys. I looked at Dasha to find out where they came from.“They’re a gift for Ariet, Ma’am.” She smiled at me, her grin reaching her ears.My lips parted, and I was pleased with what Dasha said. "Thank you. You didn’t have to go through the trouble, but thank you, Dasha."I watched Ariet, who was smiling again as he played with his new toys in his crib.I cleaned up some paper bags and toy boxes. Dasha tried to stop me, but I told her it was fine. I went outside to throw the trash when a piece of paper fell.I put the boxes in the trash before picking up the paper. I looked at what was written on it and was shocked to see the price of the toys Dasha bought. My eyes nearly popped out.

[ARIETTA’S POV]I can't count how many times I've cleared my throat since I entered this room. I'm also not comfortable sitting here because across from me is Pierce fucking Grimaldi! I’ve been praying since I got back here that our paths wouldn't cross. When will fate ever be kind to me? It seems like whatever I wish for, it gives me the complete opposite. We're not alone in this room, though. He’s with their lawyer and secretary, while I, on the other hand, have my secretary and lawyer with me as well. Our lawyers are speaking, arguing, and bickering with each other. It's clear that Pierce doesn’t like the ongoing disagreement because of the frown on his face, while I... I’m so distracted! Even though I keep telling myself not to stare at Pierce, I still find myself looking at him.I can see the blatant changes in him. His hair is tousled—and he’s dangerously hot! If women were already swooning over him back then, I feel like I’m doing the same now. It seems like Pierce has matured,

[ARIETTA’S POV]I was staring intently at my friend. What she said earlier was something I couldn't let pass."Pierce asked about me? When? Where? Why didn’t I know about this?" My questions came out one after the other, and my voice grew louder with each one.Not that I'm still hung up on my ex. It's just that... I just want to know because Blaire didn’t tell me about this."It was a while ago. Maybe... a few weeks after you left and went to America. I saw him—unexpectedly, okay? Then he asked me how you were and where you were." Blaire took a deep breath before speaking again. "I didn’t answer his second question, but I told him you were fine. He didn’t ask any more questions after that and just nodded when he heard you were okay."My shoulders slumped, and a sharp pain pierced my heart."Why didn’t you tell me about this, Blaire?" I grabbed a glass of water and drank it, though I could feel my hand shaking from the news I just heard."I thought you didn’t want to talk about Pierce
