Lyra's POV.I had a lot of things to tell him that was going to cause him to be a little bit set back but I realized that I was about to play into his hands just the way he had always wanted. For some reason I wanted to still shock him into Oblivion by reacting the way he desperately wanted me to, but at some point I was beginning to realize that it was not worth it. Instead of me fighting about these things, I would rather familiarize myself with something more important.
