Ethan began to massage my shoulders. It felt so relieving that his strong hands worked magic on my body. After a while, Ethan broke the silence and asked “Love, where are we going tonight?”“Tonight?” I echoed in confusion“What's the occasion?”His expression remained calm but there's a playful glint in his eyes“Love, today is our anniversary”In that instant, my heart dropped. I realised I had completely forgotten our own anniversary. I looked at Ethan through the mirror, trying to gauge his reaction but he maintained an expressionless face that focused on massaging me deeplyI couldn't believe I let such an important day skip my thought“Ethan, I'm so sorry. can't believe I forgot”Ethan paused “It's okay, love. Let's focus on celebrating together”I looked back at Ethan, trying to find the right words.“I'm sorry” I said.Ethan reassured me that it was nothing but I wasn't ready to let it go as I kept apologizing I stood up and walked towards him but Ethan wrapped his hand ar

I drove out of the mansion as I headed out of the modelling agencyToday, I felt the sudden urge to drive after what felt like a really long time, because Ethan had stopped me from driving. But today, he had an early meeting with his investors so I saw it as an opportunity to satisfy my urge.My baby bump stood proudly in the seat as I drove. The dress I chose left little to the imagination I looked at it with a smile and pictured the headlines that could bloom from a paparazzi’s lens“Avery Pierce, the wife of Ethan Blackwood is heavily pregnant” The thought of it amused me unexpectedly as I entered the parking lot.I entered the space and found them in the middle of a rehearsalI stood by the corner unnoticed. When I scanned the room, I noticed a mix of both familiar and unfamiliar faces.I wondered if Mr Plies had employed them without my knowledge since it's been months since I visited.I decided to make myself noticed so I stepped inside at the scene of the rehearsal. Plies and

“Dad, you came” I blurted out excitedly” “Of course I won't miss a dinner invite from my in-laws “ he answered moving to hug me I reached for him but my bump pressed against him making the hug feel awkward. I couldn’t help but I laugh at the sight. I was already nine months pregnant with a quite obvious bump. Dad's gaze drifted to my bump and he had a tender surprise look that made me flush Right then, Ma Jane and Josh arrived with Josh holding a basket I stepped forward and hugged Ma Jane who handed me a basket I opened it instantly and my face flushed as i found my favourite treat inside Ethan came downstairs and the sight of dad and the sight of dad made him smile widely as he moved to offer a handshake Afterwards Ethan and Josh face met and Ethan let out a handshake and Josh immediately took it with a quick surprised expression “Wasn't expecting that” Josh Catherine stepped out of the kitchen and clapped her hands lightly “Alright everyone. Make your

And with the speed of light, we got to the hospital. I cried in excruciating pain as we moved to the delivery room. Ethan came in, despite me discouraging him from it. I didn't want him to see me in so much pain. I became restless as I began panting for air “Ethan,” I called out with tears in my eyes. In between breath With my eyes glistening in tears, I looked at Ethan and saw tears in his eyes. He couldn't hold it anymore as it trickled down his cheek. The pain surged again, but this time Ethan held my hand in deep comfort Before I could gather my thoughts, I let out a large cry as I felt Ethan's hand At that moment, the room was filled with the invincible cries of our babies. I didn't even know how I had the invincible strength to push two babies. “Love, you did it” Ethan's voice filled my thoughts with me still panting for air and a wide smile spread across my lips. “Congratulations Avery. Your boys are strong and healthy” Micheal said I felt my heart r

It's been two weeks postpartum and I can say that being a mother is the easiest milestone I have ever attained. Catherine, Ma Jane and Ethan had made it easier for me to focus on healing after child birth. They handled the feeding, burping and little worries that come with newborns. I was lost in thoughts when the shower bell rang, it gave a sharp sound that pulled me back to the present “Avery, hurry up, breakfast is getting cold”Catherine's voice rang out. Ethan's voice resounded “Mom, let her be. Go on and eat, we’ll join you guys” “You know we don't have our meals that way. Hurry up, we are waiting for you” Hearing Catherine say they were all waiting for me made me hurry up, eager not to keep everyone waiting I got downstairs and found them at the table “Avery I'd like to go home now that you have nannies to help” Ma Jane said I shook my head feeling a slight heaviness in my chest, keeping a downcast expression “You’re okay, right?” She asked I didn'
