~ Elena POV ~ After taking a long, relaxing shower, I walked into the closet and slipped into an oversized T-shirt and sweatpants. I needed something comfy, something normal. Pulling my hair into a messy bun, I let a few loose strands frame my face. When I finally looked decent enough, I stepped out of the room. As expected, Ethan stood by the door, straight as ever. “Good morning, ma,” he greeted, eyes glued to the floor. He must still feel guilty for losing me that night.
