Mira’s POV By the time I woke up, my hands and legs were tied to a chair. I didn't make a move to wriggle free from it. I was blindfolded, but it didn't stop me from imagining what the place looked like. There was a terrible pungent smell that indicated that I was in an interrogation room for the worst of the worst criminals. I panicked as I felt the intense heat coming from a fire pit. The thought of a brandishing iron against my skin scared the shit out of me. I breathed shakily, rolling my hand into a fist as I shook gently on the chair. Sorren’s POV I shifted into my wolf, making it easier and faster for me to reach the borders. I could hear Khalid and the others trailing behind me.
