The Moon’s Pure wolf のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

QUEENETH’S POVI should have known it would be here. The forest doesn’t change much, even when everything else does. The trees still lean the same way. The ground still dips where we used to fall and laugh and scrape our knees raw. This was where Reuben taught me how to listen to my wolf before anyone else even knew she existed. Where we shifted wrong and back again and promised not to tell.So when I feel him before I see him, my chest already hurts. He steps out from between the trees like he’s been standing there all along. No dramatic entrance. No shadows clinging to him. Just Reuben. My foster brother. The boy who used to braid leaves into my hair and tell me monsters only existed if you believed in them.He looks tired. Not wounded. Not wild. Just worn thin. Like something has been pulling at him from the inside and winning most days.“You came,” he says. His voice sounds normal. That almost breaks me.“I didn’t know you’d still come if I asked.”I cross my arms, more to keep my

QUEENETH’S POVThe truth does not arrive all at once.It comes like splinters. Small. Sharp. Each one digging in deeper than the last.It starts with whispers after the attack. Elders speaking too softly. Books being moved from places I am not meant to see. Collins arguing with people behind closed doors and coming out quieter than he went in. No anger. Just weight.I notice how no one says Reuben’s name out loud anymore. Not like before. When the pieces finally start to connect, it is not dramatic. No sudden revelation. Just a slow understanding that makes my chest feel too tight for my lungs. The voice Reuben follows is not a spirit. Not a rogue Alpha. Not even something born of this land.It is older than packs.Older than the Moon as we know her now. They explain it carefully, like they are afraid I might shatter if they speak too directly. A force that does not rule openly. A thing that feeds through bloodlines rare enough to bend fate around them. It does not choose mates for lo

QUEENETH’S POVI leave before dawn because if I wait for the sun, I will not be strong enough. The world is still half asleep when I step outside. The air is cool, sharp against my skin, and the sky is caught between dark and light like it has not decided what it wants to be yet. That feels right. That feels like me.My bag is light. Not because I packed little, but because the things I am carrying cannot be folded into fabric. They sit in my chest. Heavy. Alive. Pressing against my ribs with every breath I take. The forest opens as I walk. Branches bend without scraping me. Roots that once tried to trip me flatten into the earth. It feels intentional. Like the land recognizes me now, not as a visitor, not as prey, but as something it has been waiting on.Amy is quiet, but not distant. She is present in the way a steady hand is present on your back. No panic. No pushing. Just awareness. Readiness. She knows we are not wandering aimlessly. She knows this is a beginning. As I cross the

QUEENETH’S POVHer name is Ivara. My mouth opens. Nothing comes out. The words sit heavy behind my teeth like they are afraid of being spoken into the air. My hands finally stop shaking, not because the fear leaves, but because my body runs out of energy to keep fighting it.The ruins feel closer now. Like they leaned in while I slept.I stand slowly, brushing dirt from my palms. My legs ache from travel, from tension, from holding myself together when part of me wants to split open and let everything spill. Ivara watches me move. She never offers help. I realize she never will.“You showed me that place on purpose,” I say. My voice sounds rough, scraped raw by the night. “The dream. That wasn’t just my mind.”“No,” she replies. “It was memory.”The word lands hard.“My memory?” I ask.She tilts her head slightly, considering me. “Ours.”Amy stirs then. Not violently. Not urgently. Just enough to remind me she is still there. Still listening. I feel her weight settle deeper into my ch

QUEENETH’S POVThey come at first light. Not soldiers. Not beasts. Not the things I feared in my darkest imaginings. Just people. Ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. Former pack members, exiles, wolves who were stripped of their homes, their names, their rights, and offered something in return for obedience. Loyalty in exchange for belonging. They move through the ruins quietly, carefully, as if stepping on air might break the world.I can feel them before I see them, their collective presence pressing against the edges of my awareness. Amy stirs inside me, restless, and for the first time she does not growl. She waits, calculating, sensing what I have not yet fully understood. When I emerge from the shadows, they kneel. All of them. Not because they are commanded, not because they are forced. They kneel because they know the weight of what I am. Their heads dip. Their eyes stay locked on me with something heavier than respect. Something sacred. They call me salvation. The
