"Carla, do we have to celebrate our anniversary today? Can you please not waste your time on such boring events? Amy wants to see the ocean today, and I must make it happen! Chapter 2

The burning pain on my skin still hadn't faded as I thought about my past life. The pain was so intense, it almost made me lose my balance.I stared at the man before me. A man like him… I was determined to send him to hell.Amy only cried harder when I stayed silent, looking even more pitiful. I turned and met her eyes, letting out a cold chuckle. Chapter 3

Johnny picked up the mate-bond dissolution application and flipped through it again and again. "Impossible! I've never signed this! This has to be forged! Chapter 6

At the alliance meeting, Zack's speech was nearly perfect. Thinking back on Johnny, I just felt relieved.Before this, I wrote every one of Johnny's speeches word for word in order to give Johnny a good image in the alliance. All he needed to do was to read them out loud. Even then, he managed to read them wrong sometimes.Because of that, the higher-ranking Alphas in the alliance often rejected him.
