The full moon hung low in the sky, its silvery light casting an eerie glow over the estate. I felt it in my veins, the primal call of the wild. My body began to change, my muscles rippling beneath my skin as the transformation took hold. It was a feeling I'd gotten used to after that first change. I could still recall how painful it had been, the way I had screamed as my bones shifted. Now, I was used to it.
