Maya’s POVI had been in my room all day, doing assignments, trying to figure out a calculation and I was tired of the usual routine of reading, solving equations and trying to figure out what the course was about so I decided that I needed a break. Which meant that I was going to stay away from anything regarding school or relating to my books not was I going to check the updates from the teachers so, I decided to take a stroll in the garden to clear my mind before I go back to my krona routine. Maya’s POV The other side of the bed was colder than usually when I placed my hand on it as I slowly woke up. It meant that Alex had gotten up and had left me alone in bed for quite a while now.  I opened my eyes and sat up, resting my head against the headboard. I looked around the room and realized that I was still in his room, usually he carried me back to my room whenever I slept off but I guess last night was different.  This had slowly become a routine for us, we would go to bed together and I would wake up alone, like I was a discarded piece of trash.

Maya’s POV  Returning to school felt strangely refreshing. After such a warm and memorable weekend with Alex’s family, I felt lighter- more relaxed, even. I couldn’t wait to catch up with Lilith and tell her everything. Most of the classes I had were the ones I took alone without Lilith so I couldn’t wait to catch her at lunch and ask her how she’s been.  Finally, it was time for lunch.
