Maya’s POV I woke up feeling even worse than I had been feeling when I fell asleep.  The aching in my head has intensified and it felt like something heavy was pressing down my chest. My whole body ached and it hurt to even open my eyes, my throat hurt and swallowing my spit was harder to do because it felt like my throat had been shaved with sandpaper.  I turned to see that I had slept all through yesterday and it was now a new day. I was glad that it wasn’t a weekday so I could stay in bed for as long as I wanted and get the proper rest that I needed.  

Maya’s POV Life as a pregnant woman has been a lot. Pregnancy was nothing like I had imagined it to be.  One moment, I was happy and enjoying it and the other it was terrifying and I would wish I wasn’t pregnant. Some days, I would wake up feeling the best I had ever felt, rubbing my hand on my flat tummy and smiling at the fact that I was carrying a new life, a tiny person was growing inside of me. And other days, it was really overwhelming and the fact that I didn’t knew what to expect always made my chest feel so tight that I forgot how to breathe. I was carrying a child. Alex’s child and I was feeling very elated.
