All Chapters of They Killed Me, But Fate Gave Me A Second Chance For Revenge: Chapter 191 - Chapter 200

DAISY The storm keeps growing and growing and without a doubt, I know it is going to kill everyone in this room if not stopped. In a flash, I throw my golden lights against her dark shadows, but the shadows are too many and they keep swallowing each strike of my lights because Fiona is still feeding them with more darkness. The pressure from her dark powers is also making the air thinner and thinner, as if the dark powers are sucking up all the oxygen in the room. She is truly evil. She is feeding her darkness with her own life force and with everything she has left. She is right at the center of all this with her arms wide and her head thrown back, as if she has already made peace with what is coming next. Death. She is going to die in this room and it is certain that she made up her mind about it the moment she realized she couldn’t win. Worse? She wants to take every person here with her on her journey to hell. More of her darkness keeps spreading and I hear the fighters cou

DAISYAt exactly 1pm, the Royal courtroom is in session and I am gladly seated with Liam in the front row. The dungeons are connected to the courtroom by a long route linked to one of the court’s hallways so any moment from now, Clarissa, Louise, and Yvonne are going to be here.Today, my core enemies are going to face the penalties of their crimes.Magistrate Iris Vance is at head of the tribunal while King Matthias is at a designated seat by the left close to Magistrate Iris, his crown seated perfectly on his head and Queen Helene is right beside him. They all look very powerful together and without a doubt, I know they will rule fairly regarding today’s trials.Meanwhile, my dad, who hurriedly came all the way to this tribunal from home, is seated on the front row next to mine. He gives me a small smile and a nod when our eyes lock before he looks away, now staring at Louise and Clarissa. I can’t even begin to imagine the depth of shame, anger, and disappointment he must be feeling

DAISYAbout half an hour later, I am outside the courtroom with my dad and Liam. My dad is already inside his car and after bidding him goodbye, I watch him rev the car engine to life before he drives off. I keep staring at the car until he is out of sight, my heart tugging inside my chest.I already miss him.“Let’s go,” Liam says, his arm wrapped around my waist as we both start walking towards his ride. My legs feel shaky but Liam is with me, his arm anchoring me to his body. The afternoon sun is dipping lower now, painting everything in warm oranges and golds and I can’t help but feel like this is the sign of a warm, peaceful new beginning. We won. Victory is ours. Clarissa has been sentenced to die, Yvonne is locked away for life, and Louise still got her punishment but also a chance to change. My chest feels tight with all the emotions crashing through me but I know I will be fine. After getting to the car, Liam opens the front passenger door for me and I enter. Next, he closes

ONE WEEK LATER… DAISY I wake up in Liam’s arms, the morning sunlight streaming through the windows and spreading all over me. For the first time in a long time, I am not feeling tense or expecting bad news. Clarissa’s execution happened at dawn the day after her judgment. The silver injection was slow and so painful, and I watched as she writhed in agony before she died without anyone to comfort her. I still adore Magistrate Iris for meting out that punishment to her because that wicked woman deserved it and more. Even though I felt nothing when she died, knowing that she has finally been punished for her sins has brought me peace. And thank the goddess, that chapter has been closed forever. That aside, Louise and Yvonne are still in the dungeons, serving their sentences with no chance of early freedom. As for Bryson, that bastard is out there somewhere, though he is now a wanted man because King Matthias has nearly all the royal guards hunting him across every pack. As for Lia

DAISYMonths have passed since that quiet moment in the dungeons with Louise.Time moved slowly at first, like a river finding its new path after a storm. But now, it feels steadier.I am back at the Lycan Royal Academy for my final semester, walking the hallway with Liam and a much bigger belly. I am six months pregnant. The round curve under my clothes is impossible to hide and I do not want to hide it. Regarding my pregnancy, the academy board held a private meeting some months back and after all the push and pull they had with me, they agreed to allow me finish my studies on the grounds that I don't slack behind just because I am pregnant. Also, no preferential treatments.Honestly, I was grateful to them and I still am. Being a pregnant student got me mixed reactions from other students, especially now that my belly is grown, but I am used to it now and even this morning on my way to class, I experienced the same lingering stares from the other students just like always, but I k
