CHAPTER 11 RAVEN’S POV The feast was a long one. I couldn’t just leave—the tension that filled the air the minute I walked in was questionable. CHAPTER 12DAMIEN’S POVI couldn’t sleep last night. I was going to find a way to speak to Rowan about Raven but my father summoned me before I could.He gave me instructions, about how I needed to keep Raven close and know her weaknesses. He wanted me to claim back the throne in a trial by combat.I thought he would want Raven to lead; she was niece, and since he always considered me incompetent. CHAPTER 13DAMIEN’S POV Raven had lost consciousness by the time I brought her back to the palace.My mind was all over the place, but I barked orders at everyone, demanding for the pack healer.Mira charged towards me the minute she heard the commotion. “What happened…to her?” she asked, her voice quivering.I ignored her. I couldn’t think.
