I couldn’t help but wanting to bring it to my nose and inhale his scent.Last night’s dream was more terrifying than anything. If Damien hadn’t showed up, I would have been drowned by it.This dream was painful, both physically and emotionally, because Nan was right there.She put me in the water. The water kept rising—climbing to my knees, then my waist—cold and heavy. Beneath the surface, thin glowing threads coiled around my wrists and ankles, tugging in different directions.Nan was reading something, I was scared and frightened. I begged her to get me out of the water, but she just stood there, looking at me as the threads snapped.I was in pain. It hurt a lot.
