Chapter 61Interrupted ExecutionAdelaide’s POV “Who is your father?” Rey asked one more time, stepping closer and for a second, I truly thought I misheard her.I looked straight at her, utterly surprised by the question she was asking. Chapter 63The Kingdom Without a KingAdelaide’s POV“I’d be back! Do anything you can for him.” I said, as I rushed off to the door. The guards were stationed and when they saw me rush out, they were expecting the worst.“Get the pack physician, more healers! Chapter 70 The Slander Paula’s fingers tightened around the tray. “I think you have mistaken this place,” she said firmly. But he wasn’t listening anymore. He moved closer. “You don’t have to act shy,” he murmured. “I know you want me.” Paula stepped back. “I said leave.” He licked his lips. “Why fight it? The Alpha is unconscious. She lifted the tray and poured the entire bowl of the soup straight into his face. He screamed and stumbled backward, slipping on the spilled liquid and crashing hard on the floor. “My face! My face!” he cried, rolling and clutching his skin. Paula dropped the tray and backed away, her chest rising fast. “You should have listened,” she said, shaking.
