RAFAEL POV The days after that night with Sapphire had been unbearable. Every decision, every conversation, every meeting felt hollow without her shadow lingering at my side. Two weeks had passed since I’d left her condo that morning, silent, restrained, watching her disappear behind her door. And yet, the memory of her her scent, the heat of her body, the way she’d surrendered, even just for a night, refused to leave my mind. Business kept me busy, at least in appearance. Deals, contracts, and investor meetings they all blurred together. But nothing could fill the void that was Sapphire. She wasn’t just a distraction; she was the storm I couldn’t escape. And then, the invitation arrived. A high-stakes investor meeting in Manila. Fortune five hundred executives. Opportunities that could elevate my companies to untouchable heights. But more importantly, Sapphire would be there. I marked the date on my calendar with a satisfaction I barely bothered to hide. The thought of

Three days passed. Three long, frustrating, confusing days. Three days since the meeting. Three days since Rafael Del Fierro walked back into my life like he had never left. And somehow, that annoyed me more than anything else. I told myself it didn’t matter. I told myself I had bigger things to worry about. But every quiet moment proved otherwise. Every time my mind wandered, it always circled back to him. To the way he looked at me across the conference room. To the way he said my name like it meant something more. And worst of all… To the memory of that night in Baguio. The warmth. The tension. The dangerous closeness that had somehow turned into something neither of us could ignore anymore. Which was exactly why I needed tonight. A break. No work. No emails. No thinking about Rafael Del Fierro. Just one night to breathe. --- The bar was alive with energy. Warm amber lights glowed from hanging fixtures above the wooden tables, casting

The car finally slowed as it turned into a long private driveway. Through the slightly fogged window, I saw the familiar towering structure of Rafael’s building. The sleek glass walls reflected the storm clouds gathering above the city. My stomach twisted. I had been here once before. And I had sworn to myself I would never come back. The car stopped smoothly. For a moment, neither of us moved. The rain had started falling harder now, tapping rhythmically against the windshield. Rafael turned off the engine. Silence filled the car. After what had happened earlier after my sudden outburst in the car I had remained quiet the rest of the drive. And Rafael hadn’t tried starting another conversation either. But I could feel it. Every few seconds. His eyes flicking toward me. Watching. Studying. As if trying to figure out what exactly was going on inside my head. The driver stepped out and opened the door. Cold wind rushed in. I stepped out first. The air was colder than

RAFAEL POV Dragging her panties down her legs, I dove in, hunger driving me like I’d been deprived of her for far too long. My teeth grazed her skin, my tongue explored her, and I couldn’t get enough. It felt like I’d been parched for days and had finally found the purest, sweetest water. She tasted like heaven intoxicating, addictive. Her body writhed on the bed, hips bucking wildly, forcing me to place a firm hand on her stomach to hold her still. “You taste like you were made for me,” I murmured against her, my tongue flicking against her swollen clit, teasing her. She moaned, and it sent a shiver down my spine, my cock straining harder against my pants. “Who do you belong to?” I asked, my voice low, and rough, as I lifted my head to look at her. I pushed a finger inside her, feeling her warmth and tightness envelop me instantly. Her mouth fell open, a soft, helpless sound escaping her lips. Her hips rocked against my hand, and she let her own fingers slide down to

I didn’t answer. Because I couldn’t. Because if I stayed any longer in that moment right there, in his arms, with his hand still resting at my waist like I belonged there I wasn’t sure I’d be able to leave at all. And that alone was enough to snap something back into place inside me. Danger. This was danger. Not the loud kind. Not the obvious kind. But the quiet, consuming kind that didn’t ask for permission before it took everything. My fingers loosened from his arm. Slowly. Carefully. Like if I moved too fast, I’d break something fragile between us. Or worse I’d give myself away. “I should go,” I said softly. The words felt wrong the second they left my mouth. Too weak. Too uncertain. Rafael didn’t move. Didn’t step back. Didn’t let go. His hand remained at my waist, firm and grounding, like he hadn’t even heard what I said. Or like he simply didn’t accept it. “You just woke up,” he said, his voice calm. Too calm. Controlled. Alw
