Maren's pov Gideon's demeanour changed.I noticed the instant he asked about the shirt I was wearing but I didn't think much of it. Gideon's povNovember went in a breeze.And it is now December. Maren's pov I stood up from my stool and stretched, I walked towards the heater and turned it on.It is not usually this cold in Seattle during December. My eyes fell on the brown paper bag of Affogato coffee and cookies. I feel like Gideon paid these people in advance for the coffee and the cookies because he would have definitely maybe forgotten to buy this every single day because we haven't talked that much in a long time.They kept delivering the brown paper bag even if I wasn't around, on the floor next to my door.I walked back to my stool and canvas, I kept glancing at my phone too. Gideon's pov;“Look” Jaxon called as he showed me his phone, it was a picture of Maren and Rylee at a club.“Why are you talking to her?” I asked him,“Well I sent a picture of us” Jaxon scrolled down and showed me the image of me and him on the rink after winning the game.I removed the last gear on my body, nodding as I gripped my locker After we changed into other clothes we all came out of the locker room, Jaxon had his arm around my neck and the other guys talking loudly as we walked outside.I didn't want to talk with the reporter so I pulled Jaxon with me to escape the reporter, his phone beeps as we reached the bus which conveyed us to the rink.He laughed as he scrolled through his phone, he was laughing so hard that his eyes disappeared.I wanted to ask if he was still talking to Maren but our other teammates arrived so I entered the bus. Fifty seven- Waffles and syrup.
