Lahat ng Kabanata ng FATED TO THE ALPHA'S SHADOW: Kabanata 151 - Kabanata 160

Elena’s POVThe cloth is pulled roughly off my face, and I squint my eyes, trying to get used to the sudden light. And the moment my vision adjusts well enough, my chest twists tightly as I realize where I am. The dungeon. The very one Lukas was locked up a while back. My eyes widen as I lift my head and take notes of the person by my side. Eldan Montclair. The Alpha King. He gives me a wicked smile, stepping closer.“Hello, Elena.” “Hah,” I let out in the low tone, awfully scared. He crouches low, holding my jaw in his hand. His fingers press tightly into my flesh, as if he is intentionally trying to hurt me. It works as I feel my flesh burning, but that is the least of my problems. I have other things to worry about. Like the table in the middle of the room. One that wasn’t the last time I was here.“You must be wondering how all of this happened, right? I know you were not expecting me to be on the battlefield.”He pauses, smirking. “What can I say? I couldn’t leave everythin

Damien’s POV We are still in the middle of the fight when I suddenly noticed something. Elena isn’t back. After she went into the woods and search of her sister, I wanted to go after her but Lukas’s men came out out of nowhere, blocking my path. I had to fight. And I tried to do it as quickly as possible so I could go join her but they just continued to increase a number. After a while of dealing with a bunch of them, I finally had some peace to myself, and that was when I noticed something else. My brother had also disappeared. I squinted my eyes at first, wondering if it was just a coincidence. After all, he didn’t come all the way here just to leave his man behind. No leader ever did that. And even if they did, my brother certainly couldn’t be found in such a list. So the fact that he left, actually, snuck out. The fact that he snuck out makes me feel uneasy.I start looking around, in search of Elena.“Man, we are doing it. We’ve wiped out almost half of them,” Vale says, join

Elena’s POVFrom the moment the Alpha King caught me, I already knew that I was in big trouble and almost nothing good would come out of it.I thought I was ready to suffer the enemies plans without begging. I thought I could do it. But being in the face of the problem, I realize it is a lot more than I have ever prepared for.Not only does it hurt me that these people are about to take my life, the idea that they had done it to my family, and I haven’t been able to punish them, pokes deeply at me. I hate it. I hate being at the mercy of people people like this. I may not have minded what they are about to do if I had at least avenged my family. The fact that I haven’t gotten that far makes my chest twist in deep pain.I also know there is no hope. Apart from the hateful alpha king who stands a few meters away from me, I can also see the determination in Lukas’s eyes.He looks hateful. As if he has a lot of pent up anget against me. I can’t say I’m surprised though. He never really

Elena’s POV.“Elena, Elena,” I hear someone calling out my name repeatedly but I’m too dazed to even understand what is actually going on.I don’t know if I’m dreaming or the calls are actually coming from someone. The only thing I can feel is the banging… of my head.It feels as though someone is using a sharp object to repeatedly hit my head with all the strength.I feel the weakness and I struggle to pull myself together. This is when I hear it. “Oh my goodness, Elena.”A familiar voice whispers. As I’m still trying to understand whether that is coming from, I feel a touch on my arm.“Elena, wake up, it’s me.”The voice sounds pretty urgent and this is when I realize I’m not saying anything. The name calling had been a reality, I was just too engrossed in a surprisingly deep dream to register it.Slowly, I flick my eyes open, staring at the familiar face in front of me.“Oh my goodness, Damien,” I mumble, stretching my hand forward. He looks at me with a big relieved smile as if he

Elena’s POVAs soon as everyone hears about Lukas’s death, they all begin to retreat. Every pack that had sworn their allegiance to the blood moon pack, mostly out of fear, now has no reason to commit to it.It is a good thing because it means we can finally all catch your breath. It means there won’t be need for unnecessary death and destruction. Although for some cases, it already seems too late.I watch as Damien breaks down over the burial preparation of Lukas.I haven’t been able to take myself to look at his body. I still can’t even believe that this is a reality. This was a man I spoke to hours ago. This was a man I hated hours ago. This was… This was also a man I sort of wished this upon hours ago, but now that it has happened, I can’t help the heartbreak of my heart.I start questioning everything. After all, Lukas had given me reasons to wish him death so why was I feeling bad all of a sudden?Perhaps that was because the reason he gave me wasn’t what I thought it to be.“H
