Rebecca It’s my anniversary event, and I have made sure that everywhere in the venue was spectacular. From the chandelier to the seats, the flowers, the pictures, everything was just as I wanted it. Gaston has been sleeping the guest room for days now, he hasn’t bothered to say a word to me but that doesn’t change anything, he would never mention divorce to me ever again. I stood in front of the mirror as I wore my necklace finalizing my look, I held a white purse to match with it. I was dazzled by the reflection in the mirror, everything was perfect just as I wanted it to be. I even had a special surprise for Gaston tonight. “Where is my husband?” I asked the staff taking care of the dinning room. With mother unavailable, I had to keep the place spotless, wouldn’t want her to think I was useless without her in the house. “He left ten minutes ago” I was informed, I grabbed my keys and headed out to. So many guest had already arrived at the event, I had to use the bac

Diana pov The skies was as bright as ever, I already knew it was going to be a beautiful night with nothing to ruin it. Seated in Melvin’s car with our hands clasp together, it was hard to act like we didn’t know each other at the event. When he told me he had been invited to their anniversary, I knew I had to be there too, I don’t care if I was crashing it but he wanted me to be his plus one. Rebecca won’t be dumb enough to send me an invite, by now she already speculates that I am the reason why Gaston asked for a divorce. This was her way of retaliating, telling me to back off. Silly me, I wish I could back off that easily, it’s certainly not going to happen. I had counted how many times I wanted to jump into his arms, thirteen times. “You look gorgeous today” he says, I have been waiting for that all night. “And you look handsome too” I replied. He held my hand to his face and kissed it. “I just want you to know that I didn’t hold her” he says referring

Diana I heard a knock on the door, luckily I had arrived before him, everything was intact just the way I left it. I opened the door and he rushed in, his lips crashed into mine knocking me off balance. My body crashed against the wall and the door slammed behind him. “Wait..” I tried to push him away but he was too strong. He began taking off his shirt as his hand began touching my body. I push away with all my strength and he fell to the ground. “What the hell is wrong with you?” I demanded, ignoring the itch to clean my lips in front of him. He got up breathing hard, I could clearly see how hard he was from just a kiss. “Diana, I…” he took a step towards me but I pushed backwards. “Don’t you dare come near me” I cautioned him and he paused. “Was it good?” “Huh?” He retorted. I crossed my arms, “Was it nice for you and your wife to mock me, you said you were going to get a divorce, you promised me then you pull this. How could I have been such a fool” I s

It’s a new week and I had just arrived at work, the weekend went by smoothly than I expected. I spent it with Melvin as we found out more things about each other. I wished we had more time together but there wouldn’t be enough time in the world to satisfy the two of us. I found a bunch of people surrounding a man in the lobby, as I moved closer I recognized him. It was Director John holding a box of his stuffs in his hands, his eyes were puffy as he stood there. “What’s going on?” I asked Becky, his secretary. “He got fired” she said. “Why?” I asked confused, he had never made any mistake. He was diligent in his work than the most of us, he was among the few people who stayed loyal to the company. Without any distractions or scandal, why would anyone want to let go of a gem like that. “I don’t know, it was a quick notice” she responded. It sounded so silly that he would be given a quit notice without giving him a reason for their actions. He had a family to take

Rebecca Work has been fruitful as I expected, everything was in place, just the way I needed it to be. Working here had opened my eyes to things that I had been blind to in the past, a little example, like how Diana was able to get Gaston wrapped around her finger in the short span that she began working here. I wasn’t kidding when I said I had my eyes on her, I had people watching her already, she would know by now that I am not one to mess with. I had finished for the day when I left the office and went to Gaston’s, the little slut was already gone. “Are you leaving?” I asked. He glared at me, he has been moody since I began working here but I won’t let it ruin my happy mood, I was getting all that I wanted and more. “Yes” he finally responded. “Good, I will ride with you” I say. He steps out of the office and notices that she has already left, his gaze lingers on her seat for a while then he walks away. I wrapped with hand around his as we walked out of the co
