Calla's POV We all stood frozen in our spots. Fenric had Lucien half-supported against him, one of his arms hooked firmly around Lucien's waist while Lucien's hand stayed clamped over his shoulder. I stood a few steps away from them, alone, my hands already flexing with the restless urge to move and do something. I rushed to the door and pressed my ear to the wood. I listened attentively, controlling my breath.
