Days went by pretty fast at first, and honestly, I thought things weren’t entirely bad. Like, the first two days, I kept waiting for something terrible to happen, but nothing did. Being in the room didn’t totally suck the way I expected it to. The room was actually nice. I had my own bed, my own toilet and bathroom. The bed was soft enough, the water in the bathroom was warm, and nobody was disturbing me or shouting at me.I was even sleeping well, which surprised me. I didn’t have nightmares or sudden wake-ups and every single day I was getting food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was hot, fresh and honestly really good. I kept thinking they were going to starve me or give me something horrible, but they didn’t. The food was actually something I looked forward to.
