~Liv~I was still busy day dreaming about being his real girlfriend when he sneezed like a cow^^. I had one foot tucked under my ass, the sleeve of Rowan’s hoodie pulled all the way over my hand because it smelled like him and I was pathetic enough to keep sniffing it when he wasn’t looking. The movie was some Marvel bullshit neither of us cared about. He kept stealing my crusts, I kept pretending to be annoyed, and everything felt almost normal for like five whole minutes. His phone buzzed on the armrest. He ignored it. Mine buzzed in my lap.I flipped it over without thinking. One new photo. No name saved, just a number I didn't recognize p.Little orange bottle. White cap. My full name on the label in that tiny black font. Sitting on the ugly brown nightstand. The one I stared at while he fucked me from behind and told me I was pretty when I cried.Under the picture: Door’s unlocked if you need.My lungs just quit. The room did that fun little tilt thing it does right before you pu

~Rowan~The apartment went quiet after the door shut.I stayed where I was for a bit, staring at the door. I half expected it to open. Zoe to come back in and say something else sharp. Liv to slip back in because she forgot something stupid like her charger or her lip balm or her pride.None of that happened.I rubbed my face and exhaled. Slowly. Like that actually worked.“Idiot,” I muttered to nobody.I went into the kitchen because I didn’t know what else to do. The glass was still on the table. I picked it up, rinsed it, dried it, set it back down. Then I wiped the counter. Then I wiped it again. There was nothing there.I kept moving anyway. My cheek still burned. I didn’t touch it. I let it sit. I deserved that part. What I didn’t deserve was how close I’d come to losing control of my mouth. That scared me more than the slap ever could.I grabbed my phone off the counter without thinking. My thumb already knew where to go. Her name. Same as every other time tonight.I typed, I’m

~Liv~His mouth was on mine again and this time it wasn’t angry, it was just hungry, like he’d been starving for months and finally decided to stop pretending he wasn’t. My back hit the counter hard enough that I grunted into the kiss, but I didn’t care, I just grabbed fistfuls of his shirt and yanked him closer, legs parting so he could slot right between them like he belonged there.Which, fine, maybe he did.Rowan groaned low in his throat, hands sliding up under my hoodie…his hoodie, whatever…and his palms were hot against my skin, thumbs brushing the underside of my bra like he was testing if I’d stop him. I didn’t. I arched into it instead, biting his bottom lip just to hear that pissed-off noise he made when I pushed his buttons.“Fuck, Liv,” he muttered, pulling back just enough to yank the hoodie over my head and toss it somewhere behind him. Didn’t even look where it landed. His eyes dropped to my chest and he smirked. “Been thinking about this way too much.”“Yeah?” I grabb

~Liv~I turned to tell him off and he kissed me, full on,his hand cupping my jaw like he’d been waiting hours for the excuse. Which he probably had. I made this stupid little noise against his mouth because yeah, okay, I’d been waiting too.His lips pressed harder, tongue slipping in right away, tasting like that mint gum he chews when he’s antsy or has smoked a little too much. I grabbed his shirt, pulled him closer, and he groaned low, shifting so his weight pinned me deeper into the couch. My hands went to his hair, tugging just enough to make him hiss, and he retaliated by biting my bottom lip, not hard, literally just enough to sting in the best way.“Rowan,” I said when he finally let me breathe, but it came out breathless and needy.“What?” He didn’t pull back far, it was just enough to talk, lips brushing mine with every word. “You were gonna yell at me.”“I still am,” I muttered, but then I kissed him again, harder, angling my head so our mouths fit better. He laughed into it

~Liv~Ava stood there on the porch staring at me and Caleb like she’d caught us naked or something, her mouth open for half a second before it twisted into this fake-worried frown that I knew way too well. Caleb stepped back fast, hands up like he was innocent, and I just rolled my eyes so hard I almost saw my brain.“Everything okay out here?” Ava asked, voice all sweet and high, stepping closer like she was the one rescuing somebody.“Yeah,” I snapped. “Super okay. Just catching up with your fiancé. You know, the usual.”Caleb muttered, “Ava, it’s not.. ”But she cut him off with this little gasp, hand flying to her chest. “Liv, oh my God. Were you two… talking about us?”I laughed, short and pissed. “Yeah, Ava. We were reminiscing about how great it was when he dumped me and ran straight to you. Real nostalgic stuff.”Her eyes filled up instantly, tears popping like she’d turned a faucet. “I knew it. I knew you were still mad. You’ve always been jealous of me, Liv. Always.”“Jealou
