Ayla's povBy dawn, I could feel power resting on my finger tips. Who knew what I needed was some training from Ivy and a passionate night with my mate. I woke up late, not late enough for some sort of punishment but late enough for her to notice. As I prepared for the day's training, I presumed ivy wasn't going to let me raise dead animals today, she would have prepared something else for me.This time, Killian offered to follow and when we got to the field behind the house, Killian explained as wide and open. I sucked in the air and it felt clean. If I knew this was how the far outskirts of Seattle smelt, I wouldn't have lived in the heart of the city. I was right, today's training felt different, seeing that Clara also stood at the end of the field with Ivy. I took in small casual breaths as ivy walked up to me. “You're seconds late, Lunaris" she taunted.“Killian wanted to tag along so I'll have to….She cast a stern look at me and I paused, recalling how serious she sounded

Third person's pov After hours of following his visions, he stood before the cottage, past the mist and the trees and far from the bubbly city. Best place to lay low as a witch. A witch hiding his brother and his mate and now, his dark witch. The environment didn't welcome him, it reeked of magic and spells, Kallum stopped feet away from the cottage. The witch had created her protection with care, ancient care. As he approached the cottage he noticed a barrier shimmering faintly in the night air, like an invincible dome of light that encircled the humble stone dwelling. To the untrained eye it was nothing more than a gentle haze, but Kallum could feel its repulsion. Like a sting. It was a haze prepared for people like him.The Darkforce surged within him and Kallum approached the haze slowly, he extended a hand, his fingers slayed as he pressed against the barrier and a jolt of searing pain shot through his arm as if he dipped into boiling water. He moved back immediately but

Third person's pov The VIP section of the bar was the last place Aiden thought he would be but this was one of the things he searched up the internet to do if he wanted to get over Ayla. This section was cut off from the main floor by heavy curtains and a velvet rope no one dared to cross without an invitation.Dim purple neon rays of lights came from the leather section where Aiden sat. Legs sprawled, with one arm draped along the backrest of the chair as though he owned the club itself. It was the drinks, which he was pretty sure he was immune to but couldn't prove it yetAnd the irony? the treatment given here, felt like he owned the club but then he never really felt like he owned anything. Two girls flanked him. A blond on his right, smelling of vanilla and expensive cologne, long limbs and sender fingers. On his left had thick dark hair. Carrying a dark aura and wearing crimson nails she used in tracing idle patterns on his thighs over his denim. To him, they were beautiful

Third person's pov “Is it just me or are these people just fond of the woods?" Kallum remarked as they passed through trees and shrubs. Following the lead of the witch intellectual compass. “This is actually brilliant" Erebus said “witches need a very good clearing to cast spells." He looked around. “And this clearing… I presume, suited her best" They cleared some paths for themselves and as they got closer, the structure of the house became clearer in view. Kallum expected a small cabin, maybe smaller than the cottage she had for a house, but instead this was huge. Castle-like and too tall. Kallum observed the environment and it was quiet, there were no fences and there was a higher risk of invasion but who on earth would want to invade a house in the woods. If they were even aware of the house in the woods. Kallum studied the house, there was no dome like barrier here, no sense of spells. As they approached the house. Erebus stepped over the threshold first. His shoe created

Third person's pov The next morning, Killian struggled in his sleep, the feeling of being attached to his brother was becoming more evident than he thought. In his sleep it was like he could hear him, calling out to him, tugging on to a string that held them both. But that wasn't what woke him up, it was the realization that Ayla wasn't beside him, he blinked slowly and found out she was no longer in the room either. He lifted himself upright and looked around, he could hear voices downstairs and when he heard her faint laughter, he secretly hoped she wasn't laughing at one of Aiden's jokes. How deep he had slept that he didn't notice her slipping out of bed and opening the door out of the room. He did the same, slipped out of bed and walked out of the room, he approached the living room and there was Tessa sitting, chatting with Clara who sat directly opposite her. As he climbed further down from the stairs, there was this faint smell of pancakes and he assumed Ivy was beh
