Emily’s POV That evening, I met up with my parents at home. “I knew you would not do something so stupid, my good daughter,” Mum said as she hugged me. “Are you feeling hurt anywhere?” she asked, her voice filled with concern. “Mum, I am fine. I just want to clear my name,” I said. “Of course. No one can hurt my daughter and get away with it. That mother and daughter are going to hear from me,” Mum said angrily. I nodded and looked at Dad. “That’s enough. Don’t cause trouble. If we are unable to enter the house and find evidence, you will have yourself to blame,” my father warned. “I know.
