Liam’s POV We hadn’t found Jenn, as much as I would have liked for that to happen, we’d found Morgan instead. And no matter what means I had to use, I was going to get the truth out of her. I was pacing outside the interrogation room, my knuckles still raw from the last unsuccessful round of questioning, when Luke approached with the pack doctor in tow. “Alpha Liam,” the doctor bowed politely. “The prisoner is stable now. The baby is in no danger. She’s been asking to speak with someone in charge, though I warn you – she’s not an easy one.” I nodded curtly and pushed through the door. The room wasn’t what I expected. After seeing the dungeons where we’d kept other prisoners, I’d braced myself for stone walls and chains. Instead, this was almost comfortable. There was a small bed, a table with chairs, even a window that looked out on nothing but grey sky.
