ALANShe’s standing in my red room. My fucking red space, in a full pajama set that clearly shows she shouldn’t be here. Reina’s back is to me, but I can hear the harshness of her breathing against the utter quiet of the room. She spins around to face me and I see defiance in her eyes as she questions, “Why did you kill them? How dare you? You literally have no right to take any life, you didn’t give it!”She’s been speaking about killing for the past few minutes. I raise a curious brow.“And why would you accuse me of something as serious as that, Reina?”She points a finger at me, “Because I saw you! I saw you tie that woman up so tight that I could see the scars of the ropes and you hadn’t even untied her yet! You were hitting her and—and— why the hell are you laughing?!”I tried to keep it down. I tried to leave my reaction as a simple smirk, a smile, but the laugh burst through me before I could stop it. My shoulders shake with the action. I haven’t laughed this much in years. He

REINABlinking, I quickly rise to my feet.Alan tucks his dick into his pants, and stands with me. I frown. Why’s he still… hard?“Takes a minute to go down.” He explains with a strained voice. Oh.“I have to go.” I say quickly, then turn around to bolt. One step in, and his palm wraps around my arm, pulling me back.I swirl around to face him, suddenly disgusted with myself. “Let me go.” I seethe, dragging my hand off his hold. “I can’t believe I let you touch me here, where you torture other women. Where you tie them up and treat them like slaves—”“With their consent!”“There’s no way to tell that you’re saying the truth” I say calmly, barely holding his gaze.He shrugs, “Then I guess you’d just have to take my word for it.”I prod further, “Why would anyone enjoy pain like that?”“You can come watch just how pleasurable it is, sometime.”See? You’re just one of those women to him. A voice teases in my head. Of course. I shake my head.“I need to leave.” I twirl around and finally

REINAI stop in front of his office and take a deep breath. My pussy still tingles from his touch earlier, but most of all, my chest hurts from thinking that I’m just one of the random women he brings into that red room. The thing is, I can’t resist him. I know that the moment I step into that room and the door closes behind me, I’m his to do as he likes.Between deep breaths, I knock twice. I place my hand on the cold door knob and twist it open after the second knock. The door gives way to Alan standing behind his desk. No, pacing. His shirt is now open up until the third button and the sleeves are rolled up to his elbow. He has a glass of alcohol in his hand too, and the sound of ice hitting the corners of the glass while he paces is the only sound in the room. The curtains in here are snagged shut, and only a dull light illuminates the room. As usual, the office smells like him—woody with a bit of spice. There’s also a subtle stench of liquor in the air.His pacing skids to a halt

REINAThelma eventually walks away from me, refusing to speak to me for the rest of the day. I spend the next morning helping her out in the kitchen but she pretends like I’m not there for the most part, only speaking to James and Ethan.I know she’s worried about me, but does it have to be like this, though?“Thelma… okay, come on. I know I… it was a bit strange, coming out of his office like that but—”“A bit strange? A bit? Really?” She snaps, swirling around to face me with that cold rage still in her eyes.“You're dripping oil all over the floor.” I point to the spoon in her hand which she just removed from the cooking pot.“I don’t care!” She stomps, waving the spoon even more. I wince and move back when a few drops touch my skin. “You have no right to fuck him. He’s our boss for crying out loud! Why do you have to be a dirty gold digger?”“I didn’t fu…” I pause, take a deep breath and turn around to check if anyone was in earshot. Facing her again, I continued in a whisper, “I

ALANReina’s supposed to leave today. Take a break at home for two days as planned, before returning to us for Christmas.Apparently she won’t, it’s evident in the way she’s seated on the edge of Ethan’s bed, caressing his hair while he sleeps deeply.“It’s the fact that those boys didn’t feel remorseful at all.” She finally speaks, getting off the bed to face me. There’s worry written all over her features, even if Ethan has been properly checked by a doctor and adequately attended to.“He’ll be fine. We spoke to their parents. They’re just kids, by the way. I could see the fear on their faces.”“Yeah!” She scoffs. “Fear that they could have killed him, it’s not for any other reason!”I sigh. “Belle…”“I guess I’m overreacting. But I’m just… I was just so scared, you know. Seeing him like that… What if something worse could have happened?…”She rambles on about her emotions when she saw him like that, the injury, the boys… but I just can’t stop staring at her. She was just nineteen n
