All Chapters of Two Dashing Men for Christmas: Chapter 161 - Chapter 170

~Lilian~Somehow, Miss Roselvelt had ended up not adding me to the group that'd be pole dancing for the night.Well, I had told her earlier that I wasn't feeling too good and that my legs hurt, but I didn't think she bought the excuse as at that time.I was so relieved to watch the girls dress up nice and flashy, pulling short moves at intervals while they did their make up - they seemed to be enjoying what they did. "This is the only dance I know how to do, because there's a reward," one of them had told me earlier when I asked if she had fun pole dancing.I had never thought about making money from this since I started doing it. Maybe that was one of the reasons Jhuy Clifford keeps coming back. He thinks he hit a jackpot - a mask girl that doesn't want his papers.I slept till they were back in the morning, all tired and oozing of alcohol, sweat and men's perfume. It was another day, and everyone had gone out for what they had for the day while I remained indoors watching a cartoon

~Nikolai~I didn't understand my daughter anymore.Somehow, she was slowly slipping away from my grasp. I didn't know when it started. When I became too busy with business? When she insisted on going to a university out of the city and I agreed? I had wanted her to go to school from home, so that I could watch her better, but attending a school outside West Coast made that a thought of the past. Was it when she got an enlargement injection and I just overlooked it? Was it when we had that stupid Christmas arrangement? Or when I finally allowed her get a tattoo. When did it go wrong? I kept asking myself with heavy eyes, I looked at the sun set from the balcony upstairs, my fingers wrapped firmly around my cup of coffee which was almost cold and I hadn't even touched it.I didn't want to think Sonia needed to go back to rehab. That was one topic we had avoided discussing, like it never happened.Sometimes, I forget it happened. I forget Sonia Swissman had once struggled with being a d

~Lilian~It has been three days.Three days of ignoring Nikolai Swissman, but not forgetting to go to Liqueur and Vin every evening to see how far things had gone from the last time I was there.I was the culprit. It was my fault that Nikolai's hotel's ratings were dropping, and it was his fault that I was able to do that.Unfortunately, the only person he kept the fact that we were close from was his daughter.Sometimes, I met him at his office and would sit on his laps fumbling playfully with his buttons while he gave orders to his workers. At first, it bothered me, because any of them would have easily told Sonia about us. Afterwards, I came to discover that Sonia rarely visits the hotel. The chances that she would hear about it from any of them there was slim. Then, this situation came up, and I made sure to use it to my full advantage. When Nikolai walked me out of his presence and implied I stayed out of his life, I thought I should do something to teach him a lesson. The hotel

~Lilian~I wasn't sure how I got to the girls' room last night, but the moment I opened my eyes, I saw it was morning and I was tucked under the blanket. The room was empty. Not even Peach, who was always the last to leave everyday because she takes the most time to prepare, seemed to be around. For some reason, the room looked too bright. There was a pain rising very fast from the side of my head. The more my eyes opened, the more intense the pounding in my head became. My vision dimmed. I shook my head severally to keep my focus, pushing my body up from the bed at the same time. My joints felt stiff, another sharp pain rising from somewhere around my hole.By the time I made it to sitting upright on the bed, my vision seemed a bit stabilized, but my body didn't feel familiar. In seconds, I had to literally hold my breath to be able to endure the pain from around my under.I tried again to remember what happened last night, but the pain slowly taking over my body from the beginning

~Lilian~The next day, I didn't see Sahib at all.I tried so much to not think about the possibility of him never seeing me again, to not regret being rude while he spoke to me the previous day.He was the only person on my side, more like an ally. I felt empty. My health wasn't looking good. The doctor had just left my bedside after speaking to me at length."The gynecologist attended to you. She had to. Your genitals are over labored. I can't say much about that, but it's all in your documents. It's more serious than it sounds, and I trust you know how to go about helping yourself," the blonde doctor had spoken, his eyes running through the file he carried the entire time.As I laid there helplessly, my eyes refusing to leave the cluster of balloons that kept flying up the sky outside of the window, I couldn't help but think about the incident with the remote last Christmas.I had been careless and desperateBut why does all of this matter? It was beginning to not make sense.Later
