It’s a really wide, ten-story structure with nothing except the empty rooms, the bars, the muddy floors, the darkness, and the stink of dust and mud in each room.Zeedar’s sitting cross-legged on the floor in one of these rooms, resting against the wall with his eyes closed. He hears the prison main door creak open before his sharp hearing picks up the slowly approaching footsteps.He can tell it’s the Alpha from the rhythm of the footfalls, and as they stop in front of his prison room, he sighs.“What exactly is my charge?” he groans. “I know you cannot punish me with the truth. That would expose your secrets.”The sides of Ziason’s lips tip up a little as he leans sideways against the prison bars. “The pack will have to believe whatever I say.” He flashes a torch on his brother’s face. Ziason witnessed the same thing Zeedar saw. What he didn’t expect was the ambassador dashing like that.He runs after him. But due to his lost wolf, he’s not as fast as his brother.
