MELISSA'S POV The silence was deafening as the sound of our racing hearts filled the room. We lay there, locked in a silent standoff. The world seemed to have dissipated, leaving only the atmosphere of two tangled bodies. “Let go of me,” I commanded, struggling against his grip, but I was no match. “No, not until you admit you were wrong," He said, his tone absolutely cold. “In your dreams," I snapped, my voice stern. He glanced intently at me, a flicker of excitement flashing in his eyes. “I guess we are going to remain like this then," He declared. “Don't even think about it," I threatened, sending a venomous glance in his direction. “Or what? You are going to push me off? You already tried that, you know it's not going to work," He reminded with a small smirk. I hissed, turning my head to the side in order to avoid eye contact. “Mel you know you can avoid this, right baby?" He asked rhetorically. “Just say you are sorry, and I will release you."
